My friend and I decided to take up Necromunda, and I decided on Escher gang. Now, I have this idea to make a thematic gang, based on Marvel Comics heroines. The idea is to paint them according to their oufits in the comics, and give them loadouts that would at least approximately resemble their powers. Obviously this will make some of them far from optimal, but that's ok, as long as they have at least some usability. I already had some ideas, which I'll list below, and I'd like to see your ideas and suggestions. Also, feel free to suggest extra equipment, beyond just weapons. Note that I'm just getting to know the rules, and I've never played Necromunda before, my background is in 40k, HH, board games and D&D.

Here are my ideas so far, and of all their powers and abilities I'll just list those that I think can be reproduced in game:

Queen - Ororo (Storm) - lightning strikes and flight, along with expertise in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.
I guess closest to lightning weapon in her case would be a plasma gun, since arc rifle is not available on her weapons list. As for close combat wepon, I was thinking either shock whip or a power sword.
Another option, since she can fly, is to give her a cutter. In that case the cutter woud have the twin-linked plasma option, and I could give her just the close combat options?
No ideas what skill could apply to her, tbh

Matriarch - Carol (Captain Marvel) - flight, superhuman strength, agility and reflexes, photon blasts.
Again, photon blasts are easily a plasma gun. Not sure about the rest. Also, for flight cutter is again an option. For agility and reflexes, maybe Dodge, Spring up, Hit & run or Lightning reflexes

Death-Maiden - Laura (X-23, aka Wolverine) - close combat, super agility and reflexes, bone claws
I think this one is the easiest -> dual venom claws :D I think I can even stick some of the lightning claws from HH marine boxes on her fists, for nicer visuals.
As for skills probably H&R or Lightning reflexes

Wyld Runner - Kate Bishop (Hawkeye) - proficient martial artist, master archer and marksman, adept swordswoman, skilled at using swords, bows, arrows, and battle staves, skilled athlete
Again, fairly easy, a wyld runner with a wyld bow, and something for CC

The rest is a bit trickier, since the sisters and little sisters aren't really meant to be equipped with special stuff and the selection is not that big anyway, so the fluffiness is probably going to be mostly in the paint job.
Some of the other characters I had in mind are more oriented to close(r) combat (She-Hulk, Gamora, Mockingbird, Ms. Marvel), while some are inclined to both CC and ranged, like Black Widow and Yelena Belova (White Widow).
I know there is a bajillion more female characters that I could use, especially among the X-Men (Kitty Pride, Rogue, Psylocke, Dani Moonstar (another archer?), Marrow), so suggestions are welcome. Also, if you think other characters could fit the roles I already wrote earlier, do tell.

So for your Queen, why not go dual shock whip for Storm? A) they're electric and b) you could perhaps model some form of lightning bolt for this effect.

Flight can be achieved with grapnel launcher/grab chutes, gives her the rapid movement without needing to stick her on a bike.

In terms of other Marvel characters, dual knife juve as Elektra?

Oooh, excellent ideas. I'll definitely see what I can do about that electricity effect.
I also thought about Elektra with dual knives, good one.
