I love 2nd Edition 40K. It’s the best. So this will be a place to record my games and various hobby shenanigans, mostly against my good pal Oxymandias, who is equally obsessed with the game.
Our last game was a bash of my Ad Mech against Oxy’s Orks. Ad Mech had the High Ground mission (handy as we had the Ork buildings to clamber up) whereas the Orks had to dominate the table quarters… the Ad Mech ran away with the game in the end and one of my Tech Priests got his squad of Servitors onto a roof to sieze the mission objective.
My Ad Mech army is mostly extrapolated from the Black Codex with some custom datafaxes for some of the newer models. I like the idea of a few Tech Priests taking their combat Servitors out to battle.
Oxy’s Orks gave the spleen ripper and Gobsmasha rules from the Journal a run out. Despite the victory, the Ad Mech boys will need to requisition some bionic spleens and un-smacked cybergobs.
