I've never found the magazines in Sainsbury's. I've always assumed they just didn't stock it. I've been ordering from Forbidden Planet as it saved me a trip to shops I don't get to very often.

I've managed to finish my 2nd Yakcomp entry, leader of Ferrous Maiden, Bryce Sumpsteen.

I'm not convinced about the base, so it may get redone at some point in the distant future, but for now she is finished. She's a tall lass, probably the same height as the orc boss.

I've not attempted to fill the gap on the other side of the base yet, mostly because I'm currently separated from my bits box.

The red still needs toning down quite a bit too, else he is not going to be a particularly long lived sniper.

Walls are 3" high, so it'll be a little taller once I put a roof on, and I'm trying to stay quite open plan so I can still get my fingers in there. Hopefully more to follow soon.

Some of these are larger than I thought, and while I won't use all of them, I am now rethinking a couple of design choices.

While I waited for the glue to dry, I started on a roof.

And because flat roofs are boring, I glammed it up a little, although the bright silver colour is unlikely to survive the underhive.

I also made some stairs out of dominoes so there are now 3 routes up, which I'm thinking are probably enough. There are a couple of bits left to do with the roof (that foamcore needs the edge hiding for starters) and I can start throwing some paint around.

Made from Stargrave Scavengers (and some other bits)

I'd been planning on using Redemptionists all year, but have had a last minute change of heart to Delaque.
Mostly made from Stargrave Scavengers.

Hopefully I can get them finished in time. There's another batch with no paint on them at all yet.

I didn't have enough, which is why some of them have their hoods up. Obviously, they're bald underneath.

I've just realised that the hoods make them look more like Jedi Space Wizards, so now I want to convert some more to have laser swords.

At this rate I might even get to look at some vehicles. If I get time, the bases need sprucing up, and there are always more details / highlighting to do. Also, I'm a little bit worried about how orange my bounty hunters hair has turned out.

I've just realised that the hoods make them look more like Jedi Space Wizards, so now I want to convert some more to have laser swords.

So I did. I still need to find my brass rod stash, or butcher a couple of paperclips.

I'm envisaging this pair as "bad guys", so will be making another couple to be foils to their plans, although I also want to dig out a frostgrave wizards sprue before I do that as I think that had some good options on it, or at least better arm poses.

Before anyone points out that scum can't have autopistols, that's a highly customised laspistol, honest. Hopefully I've got another Intercessor bolt pistol somewhere, so will swap it with that.
