- Cawdor Vs Orlock - Special mission "The brewery" :coffee:

- Escher Vs Goliath - Gang fight scenario featuring a IRL lady! ;)

Hey yall I am a big fan of watching Necromunda battle reports on youtube but there sadly arent that many of them so I thought I would give it a shot myself. These are my first two attempts ever at making battle reports but hey not a bad start! I definitely aim to improve and create more Necromunda content so subscribe on youtube to see the others as they come out! Planning to start a fresh campaign soon so people can follow the gangs progress from the start.

I am a fairly die hard ORB player so if you only play NCE or LCE this is a nice glimpse into the brutality of ORB. I may give those other rule sets a try in the future but I have ORB pretty much memorized so it helps keep things moving as filming significantly slows down game play.

I hope you enjoy and I appreciate any comments or feedback from you!

Thank you very much, encouragement appreciated!

I have way too many Necromunda gangs so you should see a variety of them being deployed!

Genestealer cult - uses Delaque as brood brothers
enough to have a Delaque gang too - have a heavy las cannon unpainted... heavy stubber x 2
Rat skins (unpainted)
Pit Slaves (unpainted)
Cawdor - nicely painted have a stubber and grenade launcher
Goliath - Massive goliath gang - heavy bolter, stubber
Orlock - almost as many as goliath 2 heavy stubbers
Escher - heavy stubber + Heavy plasma (actually sisters of battle multi melta)
Van Saar (unpainted) - fairly large gang with uses some schafers last chancers proxies - heavy plasma and stubber
Guilders - kitbash of various models heavy bolter
Scavvies - Unpainted just one scaly with spear gun
Wyrd Gathering - 5 original wyrds +4 kit bashes - I made a list for them very cool gang- half painted though
Confrontation Bratt Gang - only 5 of them + the bounty hunter with the big hair unpainted
Arbites proxies - grenade launcher

First report for a new ORB campaign we are calling Hive Crisis

subscribe on YouTube or follow this thread I have 2 more battles filmed that need go be edited

The deadliest battle of the campaign yet: Monsters, Hand to Hand combat, Falls, Sustained fire, Serious injuries, Permanent death! It has it all in brutal ORB glory! This is the last of a batch filmed over a weekend, more to come in the future, appreciate any feedback

I really like that you take WS and added modifiers and represent that number using a die or dice and then add the rolled dice for combat. I am going to start using this, it seems very smart. Display your modified number, and then roll all your attack dice and add it all up. Smart.

Thank you so much for watching! I do it that way so that people who are unfamiliar with necromunda can follow what exactly is going on during hand to hand combat. It also just keeps things nice and neat for myself, appreciate the feedback :)

Awesome stuff! More please!

Thank you very much! I am waiting on a 6'x4' necromunda mat my friend is making for me before I film any more (should be sometime this week) I cant wait, it will definitely improve the videos.

I have a new friend interested in playing so I am going to introduce another starting gang (The Van Saar are actually 5 games deep)

I was thinking a Delaque gang starting with a las cannon or mayyybbeee play them as genestealer cult... just the cult is so powerful, but so colorful and fun :)

The colour scheme makes them look really good as a group (y)

Does the grenade launcher have a chunk of sprue still attached to the end of the barrel??

Gracias amigo! :) I didn't want my delaques in beige trench coats & always was interested in a cult so just went for it!

It's a las cannon and yes I left the tabs on him bc I am still working on the las cannon so I left it to help hold. I looked up las cannon lore & it said their beams are purple  I'm thinking about leaving it to look like he is just starting to fire a beam

Loving the color scheme! What position does the old catachan Lt. with the bolt gun hold? A heavy, leader, or what?

Very much appreciated! I use the catachan as a leader, I also have the Delaque leader with the bolt gun/stub gun so sometimes I start with him as a leader then swap them out if I buy a plasma pistol or any armor.

When the Catachan is in the Genestealer Cult he is just a ganger with a backstory that he is one of the original members of the cult who was infected in battle off-world and managed to return to a hive, helping to establish the cult :cautious:

I like this part, truly excellent! There is a thread in the Hive Lore and Background section that dealt with how you could get quite creative on addressing the fluff of your non-canon additions to the game, and this is of that exact flavour. Unfortunately, the discourse in that thread got pretty heated and looped off topic pretty quick, but the point was to take liberties in expanding your miniatures collection for Necromunda with well thought out back story creations like what you've done (y)

In the first pic, what is the mini right to the left of the Catachan Lt.?

I have been debating whether to include more fluff and story in the youtube videos but I am not sure if people want more of that or just want me to shut up and get to the dice rolls haha, It's kinda why im debating between running them as Delaque or Genestealer cult (story plot for the "Hive crisis")

The mini to the left of the catachan is "Phat Clark" (Actually what they named the cast) from Chronoscope, he fits perfectly as a Delaque, Bald and has a single eye visor. I added the sword in his hand. Also an option for a close combat leader with no basic weapon and he has a bit of armor for an armored ganger or something. I really like the model, I actually use him in a guilder gang kitbash as the guilder boss!

I think if you had some separate videos for each, it might drive up viewership (and I believe you have a greater chance of getting monetary kickbacks from YT if your video count is higher). I know MWG do like a Narrative Campaign backstory video for each of their campaign series, maybe something like that. What this would let you do is whittle the batreps down closer to that 25-30 min mark, and then run like a 5-8 min video with some story telling after every half dozen or so batreps.

I know personally when I am wasting time on Youtube, I won't often watch longer videos (don't think I have actually ever let one of the hour and a half 40K batreps play through beyond maybe the army introductions and table layout in the opening 5 mins), so to have a mix of under 10 min back story vids alongside some digestible sized batreps should increase viewership of your channel :)
