MaliGn tried to stick with Necromunda for a bit

I met my deadline, about 1am last night I finished off the latest gang sister for the Underhive Harridans (and only the first one built with a lasgun!) First campaign games will be later today but here's Bonnie Johv:

And with the original metal model that inspired the build.

She is bound to be first to go out of action with the curse of fresh paint but I'm looking forward to the game regardless!

So I decided to get involved in hive marketminos scumathon '24 on Instagram and there together some weirdos.

Made a few pit slaves out of a jakhal that was mini of the month and a couple of arco-flagellants.

Then I found an old flagellant head and a Cawdor body and this guy fell into place.

.

And because there was clearly such large holes that no-one could walk on the boards applying mesh.

First attempt with tape failed

So I started cutting strips of plastic.

But to detail up the flat plastic I made a rivet punch out of an old paint brush

The effect is subtle but should add interest.

I just punch the recess around a rivet so there will be a little circle I can pool paint in with with a raised centre. I dunno if it'll really work but it's something

Man, those do fit well with the old tiles!

This is looking very solid, should be pretty excellent when it's done.

Thanks folks, bit unsure where to go with painting them, thinking of some gray basecoats and then some metals and rust over the mesh, maybe some heard stripes on certain edges, but not really sure. I kinda want to be able to bring some variety of colour to the boards when using a mixture of the two tile designs.

Anyway in the meantime I've finished up the Juve, so here's Cheap Trixie.

Having had the flash of inspiration to make her shoes Chuck Taylors it only felt right to go back and give the other two a pair each also.

Clearly the little Sisters of the Underhive Harridans can't afford Louboutins but can manage the creds for some Converse.

Cheap Trixie: I want you, to want me. Want me to shank you.
They also do a song conveniently called "Little Sister"

Moved on with painting the first of the new tiles, went in with some offcuts of pick and pluck case foam and came up with this:

Which'll do nicely for the plain ones, need to figure out a plan for the holes, but first I have a whole bunch of grating to paint up!

Hmm. If that’s a criteria, there’s always Skid Row “Sweet Little Sister” and The Cult “Sweet Soul Sister.”

This is why the Juve in the pink top is Called Kid Row ;-) and the other one is called Cry Baby in reference to Cry Little Sister (theme from the lost boys) by Gerald mcmahon.

There's also dance little sister by the rolling stones, and a track I found called vicious little sister by the medicine dolls and assorted others.

I'm also thinking white wedding by billy idol might be a shout.

I may have bought myself a little treat in the form of
These ladies, I'm thinking of some little conversions for them, perhaps different arms or weapons, not sure yet.

And then I got sidetracked entering a local lucky dip painting comp, I drew a stormcast eternal knight Relictor which I have been converting to prove that every model really is a Necromunda model.

I'm hoping that this reads as some kind of Goliath, possibly a Goliath Venator, or possibly a Temenos Conduit, I dunno, plan is to do his skirt as heavy leather like a forge apron. Head is from the blades of khorne range in AoS, but modified to have a 'hawk.

Let me know what you reckon. I kinda fancy building up the mythos of The Sump Smith a bit.
