Hard to see the fleets with the colorful background, but nice mood-setting pictures.
Double warband/gang/fleet/whatever is a good approach! (in principle. Wouldn't do it for large army games)
For the pics have a look in the album. There are also some closeups which are better to see the single ships (not all, but most). And for the double army thing: I also have 2 wh40k armies (but got both gifted and completed them later so that was a lucky incedent ^^)

Did very little painting for the first six months of 2020 because of the Covid distraction. From June to November 2020 I went crazy building and painting BFG stuff. The resut is my Covidius Crusade fleet. There is now a large Gothic sector fleet (green), a smaller command fleet (white) and a small Ecclisarchy/Ministorum fleet (carmine).

Give or take 0.5 cm for stuff like nova cannons or power rams and sensors etc

At first I was sad I sold everything off because it seems like a lot of Yaks are getting into this. But then I remembered I’m on the wrong side of the globe anyway, so it’s ok.

My first proper fleet. Fire Angels chapter of space marines. 80s Badab war scheme. The funny symbol is an army/campaign badge. The chapter badge is on the other side for most of them.
1 strike cruiser and the 3 Gladius are a fan sculpt.
All other capital ships are made by kit bashing spacefleet and battlefleet gothic ships.
Metal citadel novas at the back.
Forgot this thread existed. Painted a little more BFG since I last posted here.
