Welcome to the May Submissions Thread!

Where we encourage finishing models and showing them off. The most important rule is, only post once in the submission thread, and only with your finished models of the relevant month. And I am on the opposite side of the scale, and seem to be picking up speed. (Which isn’t hard since I did zip from Jan to Mar.)

Not a massively productive month as I got a bit hooked on Diablo 2 Resurrected again (I go through phases).

Been working on my Venator Squats a bit. Needed some vehicles for Ash Waste games. I started on some bikes/trikes but got distracted so will finish them for next month. I did get a rhino APC done though.

Next up some more things for my 2nd Ed Salamanders. Terminator captain because I love the classic mini, despite him being a bit short. Added a bit of height on the base to make it less obvious. Also did a techmarine, servitors and a rapier for some support.

Finally started painting my classic Escher. Bit of a palate cleanser with the brighter colours. Each one will be painted differently based on the names thrown up by a cyberpunk name generator.

Still have stuff in progress, should finish it up before the end of the month, but have also completed minis already. Xaphan the Castigator, my Dark Apostle leader for my Fallen Crusade army. Word Bearers kill team. Clan Blood Asp and Merc Savannah Master hovercraft. Soon, some more BT and an Outcast Fish-folk warband for Necromunda.

Poop, I posted this in the yearly thread by accident! 😳


This month I completed some WIP stuff: the Neophytes to bring my GSC force up to 1000 pts painted and two warbands for Warcry - Gloomspite Gits and Royal Beastflayers.

That actually completes several of my new year's resolutions! My goals for the rest of the year are basically to get more of the various terrain pieces done and paint some add-ons for my various gangs, warbands and armies to give me more variation.

(no way I'm sharing pictures of airbrushed plastic spoons)...

i tested about 50% of my required paint recipes and I'm waiting on a German shipment to test the remainder, then start building my gang (s).
(at least my hobby/airbrush corner is set up)
 
This month I painted up some things that go bump in the night. Not as much time spent on these as the skeletons but they came out looking pretty good. Unfortunately in the pictures the shades of brown and grey seem to be washed out into one colour. Soon enough I'll need to make a lightbox or picture stage. Three entries for me. So here they are:

Edit: Wow, I just noticed that terrain counts! I guess there's always next month to post it :)
