May '26 FYSC Submissions Thread

Welcome to the fifth submissions thread of 2026! With the end of May we move into summer!

As usual, the most important rule of the submissions thread, is please only post once with your finished models. All banter, praise, pledges and discussion is for the main thread, where you'll also find further rules (there's not a lot).

For newcomers, anyone can participate in any given month, by posting pictures of the things they finished that month. This one ends a little later, 'cause I'm late, on the 5th of June, when the poll will go up.

Paint models, post pictures, have fun!

 

[Bilbostomper]

This month I've added a chariot to my WoC army for the Old World and finished the rest of the 9th edition 40k starter box. The chariot uses some parts from other Chaos Warriors / Knights and also leaves off quite a few pieces that I felt made the model look to toy-like.

The 40k models were assembled as intended, apart from some arm swaps on the Assault Intercessors to make them look slightly more varied. With this, I've completed another of my New Year's resolutions, to have the 9th ed starter done in time for 11th.
(I didn't get the 10th ed starter, so I won't be repeating this in three years.)

In June, I'll be converting a mounted hero, rebasing some of my old Chaos Knight and making some terrain.

I've been a bit slack on painting recently due to work stuff and the warms (us Scottish folks don't understand the fiery sky ball).

Managed to get this month's unit for my groups Old World Tale of Painters done. Had to be a noisy unit so did these skin wolves for my Nurgley Wolves of the Sea. Awoooooo

Finally got these Boyz finished to a point where I'm happy with them. Not managed to find a basing material I like for them yet, but they're essentially finished. Now for the rest of them...
