Hmmm Mon Denmark appears to only have two bridges/roads connecting @MedMos to the outside world. So all we need to do is cut off the internet, initiate a naval blockade, and wait out his glue and paint supplies @SuboptimusPrime I’ll take the bridge to the north, you go for the south. It’ll take days at most before he runs out.

Once we’ve ID’d the target (he’ll be the one with a car load of Nuln Oil) we tail @MedMos back to his lair, then we just wait for him to leave again, the Troll then distracts Mrs @MedMos with his dashing good looks and amusing banter, whilst you ransack the house! And we split the bounty. Are you in @SuboptimusPrime ???

I get Felix, that is not open for negotiation. All other parameters are agreeable, mission will commence once I find the keys to my Ornithopter, which I am utterly sure I put down right here.

Ok, screw it. This is a placeholder post, signifying where my yakcomp#42 entry will make a start. Once we find out what the theme is... I have painted other stuff today, will show soonish. Go, yakcomp, go!

I'm back! Had a few nights of restless near-sleep, which messed with my productivity. Maybe something to do with the blimp I'm pretty sure has been circling overhead the past week... It's probably fine. Anyway, this morning I got up early and started on my wizard for yakcomp #42. I've shown the raw material once, but here is where he started today, and where he is ready for primer.

His head is a little large, but I think it adds to his slightly otherworldly appearance. The plan is to get him painted up first, so that If I don't manage to find time for the rest of my planned comp entry, I at least can enter just this guy.

It has been a while... With summer, kids holidays and putting our house up for sale and the accompanying renovations and cleaning, I haven't really hobbied in a long time! I'm hoping that'll change a bit in the near future.
With projects the summer was mostly spent at home, but we did have time to go to the beach and relax once in a while.

Also did a little shooting with our bows, I think he's got quite good form for a 6yo.

Modelwise, I got a care package from a great yak today! Really looking forward to getting those bits to use. :giggle:

Some excellent stuff in there, and I think my Van Saar are due an overhaul...

I've also had some thoughts about the latest yakcomp, and I'm definitely joining. There is also a tribemeet coming up, and I had plans to ship a hired gun to that. I was comtemplating doing a generic hired gun, but sending a model close to the Thunderdome, it really has to be a pit fighter, amirite?! And with the theme being "Future shock", it is perfect for converting up a model for that purpose. More about that in the next post, which will mark the start of my comp progress.

Start of yakcomp 43, woohoo! I'm doing a pit fighter for tribemeet, and dug out the following bits.

Mostly fantasy wood elf bits, with a bit of goblin and skaven, I believe. I'm doing a lady pit slave with shears, stub gun and a skull mask, if I can get everything to work. But we shall see soon enough, hopefully I can cut and glue a bit this weekend.

I had a little time to bash some bits together.

Apart from the stubgun from Mad Robot Miniatures, everything is gw fantasy bits. I reckon the next step is to necromundafying it a bit (or a lot!), before priming, basing and all that jazz. I aim to finish it next weekend at the latest, as I want to send it to tribemeet, and I might be cutting it close even then... We'll see. Thanks for checking in, c&c appreciated!
