Quick detour from the comp... I lit the beacons, and my mates answered. So we're playing nce in a week! I kinda want to try out some pit slaves, but I need a couple of techno's. A quick kitbash session later...

The lore says techno's are often former Van Saar gangers, and I had a duplicate of the old shotgun ganger, as well as some leftovers from the new gang box. A plasma gun from Mad Robot and a couple of cloaks from Anvil Industry, and here we are. Hopefully I can prime them tomorrow, although it's very cold outside...

I'd say it went better than expected, in some aspects at least! We hadn't all three played in a long time, so we decided on a three-player gang fight, where we each got a randomly assigned corner to deploy in. My fresh pit slave gang in one corner, some reasonably seasoned Delaque's in the opposite corner and some horribly overpowered Spyrers in between. Of course the Spyrers went for me first... I'd say we held our own, but it was still over in very few turns after hand to hand was engaged. I bottled voluntarily before too many got taken out, and had good luck in the post game. No deaths or crippling injuries, and a few level ups scattered around. All good. Although, with gang fights offering no extra means of income, I had to let my beast master wyrd go after game one. Oh well. Quick break for a snack run, but there was still only time for one more game before calling it for the day, so another 3-way gang fight it was! Fortunately, the Spyrers were swapped out, but for some very hardened Redemptionists, and this time I was sandwiched in the "middle" corner... So two gangs, with quite a few more games under their belts than my barely blooded pit slaves, moving in from either side. Didn't take long, I put up the best fight I could, but my dice didn't want to play, and I failed the first bottle roll I was forced to make! Again, nothing crippling and a few levels gained. I do look forward to a proper one on one, though.:giggle:
Anyway, here they are. Still lots of room to add more models for more choice of weaponry, but they can be played.

Thanks, @Mr. M! Didn't achieve much in game, but next time it isn't newly painted. ;)
I've been doing bits and pieces on the techpriest over the weekend, and is slowly adding greenstuff to flesh out the robe. And in between I was gluing pieces together for a repair drone companion, and suddenly it was just... done!
Not the best picture, but I added a glaive to one of the "legs" of the techpriest. I know it's supposed to be a mechanicum axe, and he's supposed to have a servo arm, but I had this cool glaive thing (thanks, @Pagumb!), and the snaky leg things will have to count as an extra arm.

Trying to fight my way out of a bit of a painting slump, I finished up some rats and a loot token. They're just some tomb rats from reaper, so not the best quality material, but they'll do as random critters in a game. I'm fairly happy with the treasure chest, and that makes six loot tokens ready for some treasure hunting.

I've been battling some hobby butterfly project overload, in the sense that I have so many projects I would like to work on and not enough time to devote to them. Resulting in not working on anything, because where to begin? So a week ago I decided to spend 20 minutes on my hobby after dinner every evening. Not on anything in particular, but at least getting some tools, brushes and minis on the table. Some evenings I get more done, and spend longer than 20 minutes, some times I do a couple of passes with a drybrush on a mini and watch some YouTube. But I've done at least something in the past week, for example these miniatures for Frostgrave.
The big guy is a Landsknecht Ogre from Wargames Atlantic, which I will be painting as a frost giant. The others are kitbashed cultists from various Northstar kits. I got the urge to do a Witch's warband in a style similar to the Forsworn in Skyrim, and these are the first ones assembled.
Other than that I am working on the comp piece, I'll snap a picture one of the coming days.
