Necromunda Metro Morph - Modular Card Terrain

We had so much fun playing last night - largely due to the scenery - that I didn't take as many pictures as intended. Metro Morph is great and the best out the box solution I've played on. Top work @BabelSnake ! It's solid, sturdy, looks badass on the table, and is easy to work with once you get the gist of things. The stickers for the plastic clips are a really nice touch. Flexibility wise there are endless options, which is where this kind of scenery really shines, and it's light and easy to transport/store. Impressions are all positive really.

I ended up going for 3 core sets, 2 cover and 1 elevation. If doing it again, I'd get the same no. of core sets, but 2 elevation and 1 cover as you get loads of the latter in a box and more stairs and walkways never hurt. The angled roof bits also look really nice. The majority of the 3 core boxes are used in this pic - we could have squeezed out a few more small/medium sized buildings - and about 1/4 of a cover addon.

Hopefully there'll be an option to buy another elevation set at some point as I'd like one more. There's one gripe, which isn't really much of a gripe and something Stoof touched on. The stickers. They're great, tie everything together, but I ran out for certain clip types. Particularly the L shaped ones, of which there's two baggies worth of unstickered clips left over. Having said that, we didn't run out of stickered L clips so this is a minor issue indeed. What I'd mostly like is more of the thin stickers to cover the undersides of the clips as a fair few of those were flipped over and exposed. An option to buy sticker sheets would be welcome.

That's it pretty much it. I'm super chuffed with Metro Morph and am already thinking about the next build - there's definitely elements of Lego here - which will look completely different!

Wow! Thanks for the great review. Hearing you had such a fun time with it and seeing those awesome pics really made my day. Really like you got that Lego vibe from the kits also, as that was one of the goals I was gunning for from the start.

In regards to stickers, yes, they can still be picked up. As to further kits, I don't have too many left after this first fulfillment phase but based on the general positive feedback, and what I have cooking on the back burner, there will more than likely be a followup KS campaign i the near future.

Thanks again for those pics, really inspirational.
Great looking table! Gotta get my slack arsed friends into gear to have a game
Hey! Who are you calling...(looks over to large pile of unpainted minis)...umm...carry on.
I thought the delivery guy looked familiar! ;)
Haha, yep. Delivery guy by day. Hobbyist by night.

No worries dude. Cheers for the scenery!

It's totally got a Lego vibe, so you nailed that part. We started by following the blueprints, but after a few buildings went off piste and got so distracted playing with the cards, the game started hours later than planned!

Re. stickers - how can I get some? Re. further kits - if you do have any more elevation kits going spare once the dust settles (or just a bunch of stairs), i'd much appreciate one. I'll be all over new content in a follow up campaign.

And fyi - I put a post on the Necromunda Worldwide Facebook group with a pic and quick impressions and people seem interested, but concerned the product's dead. Maybe let them know you're still kicking.

Hit me up at jacob@crowdforgestudio.com and I'll see what's still available.
