Hi

I'm Micanser, new player from Poland (sorry for my language mistakes). I have been on this forum for some time but this is my first post (and thread) in which I want to show you my miniatures.

For now all my models are still in WIP stage (unpainted), but i have converted everything i planned (almost all models are second-hand). I hope this will be interesting for you. Lets begin with GorkaMorka.

GORKAMORKA

VEHICLES (cardboard, plasticard and a lot of glue)
Trak, trukk, two buggies (one very small - with hidden driver and place for one ork) and three bikes. All "big" vehicles have spot with magnets, to attach heavy weapon, bikes have linked shootas.

TRAK

The driver roof can be disassemble, the box can be disassemble too (it allows heavy weapon shooter to reach gun)

TRUKK

Like in the case of Trak, the driver roof can be disassemble, heavy weapon shooter require a box to stand on. Trailer have three parts - its lenght can be modified.

BIKES

DRIVERS
Drivers bodies and some heads are my own "project" - i have sculpted them and casted. Heads are not quite in warhammer style, but are good enough for me.

HEAVY WEAPONS AND GUBBINS

The boarding planks are to short - I will have to "extend" them at some time.

FOOTERS
I will take more detailet photos of models below when these will be painted. The big angry guy in the middle is warband boss - Dredd (he is mad because he almost cant see).

Boyz arms and torsos have magnets inside so it is possibly to change weapons.
gorkamorka_3.jpg

Every boy have hidden magnet in its belt - it allows to attach a grenade to model.

I have grots too - nothing special, just wh40k Gretchin box, but there will be more - in distant future I will try to sculpt my own grots/goblins.

And four old necrons models (I love how these old models look) - I am going to sculpt necron lord.

I Have four modern necrons too, but its nothing interesting.

MORDHEIM (ORC BAND)

When i started converting first GorkaMorka models I thought "Why not make mordheim orc band too, part of the arms can be used in both systems". So there it is:

The Black Orc is warband boss - Har'dead (hard head, always in full armor, hard to kill), on his left there is Big Un with axe and sheild and a shaman, on his right there is second Big Un with two handed weapon.
mordheim_1.jpg

Boss and Big Un shields can be disassembled (pins), chain in the weapon of second Big Un is to long (or his hands are to low), so the ball on a chain drags along the ground (I think this looks cool :) )

As in case of GorkaMorka, almost all of orc boyz have switchable arms with weapons.
mordheim_3.jpg

In case of goblins only few on them have switchable weapons (too many problems with putting magnets in their little arms).

Squigs were sculpted by me - at first i wanted to sculpt four "big" squigs, but I was dissatisfied with two of them (didint finish them) and i have sculpted three small ones instead. I dont know if Mordheim rules determie size of squigs and thier bases, regardless of it I will use these small squigs, maybe i will glue them to bigger bases :)

I didn't bother with a Troll model, I have two trolls for Blood Bowl and I will use one of these if I need to.

Arms with shields have seconds magnets so the shield can be switched to fit GorkaMorka or Mordheim:

The rest of arms which were not show on the images above:

You may ask: "Why do you need so many models? Third part of it is enough to play.", my answer is: "That's what happens when you dont read any rules before bying models :) And I like to have a lot of models to choose from :)"

That's all folks :)
Now I'am going to wokr on my Necromunda Enforcers "gang" :)

Excellent work there, on both the miniatures and the vehicles. Some fantastic ideas too with the magnets. Great stuff all round.

I'm impressed that you went to all that trouble to magnetise everything. I normally think it's easier to just get a new model if really needed.

I haven't post anything for long time, unfortunately I didn't fully paint any miniature yet, but I have created some Mordheim terrain instead ;)

I haven't written anything for very long time, probably because I am old and lazy... or just very lazy :) However I have finally forced myself to paint one miniature - Orc boss for Mordheim.
mordheim_boss_small.jpg

I know it will be very hard to hide for him in the Mordheim ruins, but I just love bright, aggressive colours. This is quite big step for me and I hope there will be more soon.
