Anyone know if I need to get permission and or what the process would be to get some physical copies of the NCE book made?

Was pondering after having an old Knights of Dice YouTube video come up about making physical copies of pdfs into books.

Depends on if you're commercialising it, I'm guessing... If you advertise and sell them, you'll probably get in trouble. If you and a few friends use them, noone will ever know.
My best guess. Not legal advice. Treat accordingly.

Everything should be fine if you aren't selling them.

I have the same issue, I much prefer playing from a book. My NCE print is still the 2017 one so needs updated, so I was thinking about it as well. There are a few companies out there which will print a book for you one off, a few Yaks have done this over the years.

Part of me wants to try book binding into a hardback now I've looked into the process a bit. But that might just be the ADHD chasing a new challenge. The sensible head says just get a company to do a paperback and leave it at that.

I haven't tried this myself but, from other similar discussions, I gather that some printing services may query whether you have permission from the copyright owner.

I’ve got a bound version from 2019, however @Karandrassh has his in a binder with dividers which makes it much easier to navigate, so I’m going to make myself one similar.

I had a 2021 edition spiral bound. Been pretty pleased with it.

Its so nice to actually play with a physical copy on the table - this is a tactile hobby after all!
