Necromunda Necromunda and Kill Team projects. Minis, terrain, etc.

Hey everyone, sorry i've been quiet for a few months but I've been busy painting up minis for other games. On that note, I did buy myself a nice cheap second hand display case, and have just ordered 4 more shelves for it as it's looking a bit full at the moment! :D

So... top shelf is my ultra modern forces based on the Division video game series, next shelf down is Fallout Wasteland Warfare, the shelf below that is more Fallout, then some for Carnivale and Collision - both are really interesting skirmish games - and lastly is my Necromunda shelf. The minis will be getting moved around in there once the extra shelves are added. :)

Right, tangents all over and done with - back to the real reason you guys and gals are here - GW minis!

First, I have assembled a Slave Ogryn gang:

Next, I've painted up one of the Gellerpox from Rogue Trader to use as a brute for my Chaos gangs - affectionately known as Finster due to his paint scheme inspiration (yes, it's Chuckie from Rugrats!):

EDIT: Added the wrong picture of Finster. Corrected now! :)

I also used a bunch of leftover bitz to build some mechadendrites for this skitarii to turn him into a tech priest as a "counts as" for the Blackstone Fortress Escalation character - I managed to get a set without miniatures from a facebook group to allow me to use the other expansions that I do have. I was late to the BSF party - I will not be making that mistake with the upcoming Cursed City. :)

Speaking of Blackstone Fortress - here's some minis I've been working on from the set (plus some snapfit cultists mixed in for good measure).

Lastly for now, I have a work in progress Escher gang made from Code Orange Games miniatures (and a 3d printed Juve mini my wife got me for Christmas), and a work in progress Salamanders kill team. :)

Pariah Nexus turned up this morning, and I know the kill teams in the box are a bit one sided, and I had to head out to the local indy store to pick up the new limited edition copies of Pariah and Penitent for my wife as she is a big Inquisition fan, so I grabbed a copy of the Recruit Edition starter box to reinforce my new Necron kill team. As such, they are primed and ready for assembly as you read this. :)

And here's some Heavy Intercessors - the first space marines I've painted in over a decade. They are certainly... bigger than I remember. :p

I have a bunch of resin lava bases to put these guys on once I've painted them up, which is why their current bases are only primed.

Next up is the Gravis Captain and 5 assault intercessors. I've subscribed to the Imperium partworks magazine, so the idea is to slowly paint up a Salamanders and a Necron force and use them for a kill team "permadeath" narrative campaign, swapping out models as each one goes out of action. The larger models will likely end up being used as objectives - HVT's, demolition targets, etc.

Plus I just think I'll enjoy painting them.

Hi guys and gals. I'd totally forgotten I'd had this thread. My apologies!

Let me catch you up with what I've been up to!

Goliath gang updates:

House Orlock gang - The Ash Road Truckers.

These guys are very much inspired by Mad Max, as they should be. :D

Essentially they are convoy guards that move across the ash wastes from Hive to Hive protecting supplies. I have some plans to add more Wreckers to the gang but giving them really long poles like the Warboys from Fury Road. ;)

Good morning all, I remembered this thread existed again!

Not much to show as all my photos are on my phone, and for some reason Yaktribe won't load when I'm running on mobile internet. As such, I'm limited to what photos I've got already uploaded to the site whilst I'm typing this - from my work laptop! :D

So, here's a few photos of the Ash Road Truckers 1000cred campaign list I've put together ready for some games this week - my first proper Necromunda campaign and I'm super excited to get started :)
