Necromunda Necromunda and Kill Team projects. Minis, terrain, etc.

It's because he's using the female legs from the Atalan Jackals kit. I thought it would be hilarious to have the biggest dude in the unit have to smallest legs. Clearly he's been skipping leg day. :D

Once the models are painted, I'll be adding gear to their beltlines once I know how they glue into the seats of the bikes. That should hide any dodgy joints - in theory at least. :)
Fair enough 💪
I do look forward to the finished product. My Ash Wastes arrived yesterday and now I know my days of collecting vehicles have paid off.

Finally, out of my gang roster, here's the 9 Greenhorns I recruited due to house patronage. They are a mix of STL ranges from Anvil Industry, printed on my Elegoo Mars. They were mostly misprints but I figured I wouldn't waste the resin and I think once they are fully painted they'll look pretty decent.

They are a mix of Post Apocalyptic, Drop Troops and Gothic Void Trooper ranges, with some Orlock, Cawdor and Hive Scum bits thrown in for good measure. Once I've painted them I'm going to add spare ammo box mags for the Lugger's Heavy Bolter onto a handful of them by attaching them at the waist and using green stuff to make shoulder strap harnesses for them. This will be to allow them to fit in with my Ash Wastes theme for my gang.

They are all supposed to be drudges drawn from a Mine Workings territory, which is why they all have mining equipment and scavenged firearms. The ones with the ammo boxes are supposed to represent ammo runners that are there simply to follow the Lugger and carry extra ammo for it to allow it to be reloaded when out in the wastes.

With my gang mostly sorted for now, I started work on the Ash Wastes box the moment it arrived.

So far I've only really gotten to a finished place with the walkways. Here's some stage by stage photos along with the finished peices.

I started with White primer, then stippled on Ratskin Flesh, then stippled Vallejo Rust Effect, then sponged on Ulthuan Grey. Then the whole piece gets a coat of Martian Ironearth before wiping it off the top surfaces, leaving it in the recesses. Once that's dry, the whole piece gets a coat of Dirty Down Rust, and when that is dry, a light drybrush of Canoptek Alloy.

Real nice. I just started building mine but wont see paint for a couple of weeks until my airbrush arrives.
That rusted effect looks so good
Do you plan to have a colour on the main hab bits or just rusted out as well? 👀 I saw one that was off white and red with lots of the rust showing. Salt wash method.
Made me drool a little. 🤤

They'll be white as the main colour but with as much rust as the walkways, plus a bunch of AK corrosion texture on the bottom of the platforms and the hab rooftops. I want mine to look abandoned to the wastes
