Aulenback submitted a new resource:

Necromunda Gang Pit Slave Rebellion - Reskinned Genestealer Cult - GSC rules for N17 it Slave Gang

Trying to find a way of bringing one of my favourite N95 gangs into N17. The Pit Slave uprising. While there are several full homebrew efforts at replicating this gang in the N17-N23 rule set, there is no lack of playtesting already done for the GSC gang list, and it CAN be a passable match for the old Pit Slaves gang, really only lacking "Techno" skills (Savant Skills) on the Champion. Not bad.

@Aulenback: I really enjoyed reading through the pit slave rebellion resource. First time in a while I want to go looking for bits with an eye towards converting up a gang.

Do you have any sources that approximate the metal pit slave bionic weapon arms? I doubt they exist but I'm hoping I'll be able to find third party bionic weapon arms scaled for humans, orks and even ogryns. Anvil Industries might work for at least two of the three.

Ork bionic weapon arms:

Can't go wrong with Anvil Industry for their bionic arms, but they really only work well for human minis imo.

And just to have more than one option for sources, Reapermini also have some packs of bionic limbs that are suitable for conversion.

Plus of course, lots of thingiverse 3D Printer files. All this, plus Ardavion's excellent suggestion.

Modeling notes. Putting together a scattering of “Gladiators” (that is, Aberrants), looking for something BIG, but still smaller than ogryns, here are a few that are doing well on our table.

1. The Blackstone Fortress servitor - this servitor is nice and bulky, looking suitably huge and impressive, and obviously visually appropriate straight up as is.

2. Some good bits for a couple more are old metal Ork Nob bodies combined with old spare “bare” terminator heads, and old plastic Ork arms (smaller than the Ork Nob arms, and plastic so easy to work with), plus assorted mechanical bits anc gewgaws for hand or arm replacements.

3. Reapermini’s “Mega-Mutant” is a big-but-not-ogryn-sized bruiser with a power hammer and a wrist-mounted crossbow, but that latter is easily converted to bionics of some sort or other, given the restrictive equipment list fir the Gladiators.

I really like this Aulenback.
Are there any other updates of old gangs like this scattered around YakTribe? Or elsewhere? I will look myself of course, just wondering if anyone knew of any other unofficial updated gangs like this?

I wanna collect them, see if I can add them into my little gangbuilder spreadsheet. Love these old gangs updated like this.
If they don't get officially updated by GW, I would still like to have these rules to play with.

There are! A scattering can be found in the vault, and others through a google search. Most are homebrew, crafted whole cloth, rather than attempting to adapt existing gang rules the way this one does.

Ah thankyou! I managed to find some of these already, but not all!

Nice work on your pit-slaves again mate. I might add them as a custom gang in my gangbuilder wotsit if that is cool with you!

Go for it, but again, they really are just the GSC rules from Book of Ruin, re-fluffed and re-named, and with some extra restrictions thrown in. Making use of the rules we have. Nothing extra or homebrewed.

The custom gangs part of my builder is just for unofficial fun gang choices like this, its fun to have that i think.
