Necromunda in Australia?

My small group is currently finishing up a campaign playing out of Jolt games in Mitchell. Usually Monday nights though I do let people play whenever suits them as long as they can organise times with their opponents (though I might be looking at moving from Monday nights).

I also let people play without painted gangs and try to reward people for painting/modelling/converting rather than punish those that don't have time to get everything done.

Will likely kick off the next gang war in April to give everyone a bit of a break as we are on our 4th campaign since the box set came out (3 turf wars and 1 dominion).

There are a few other groups around in Canberra that play out of peoples houses on the North side and the South side if Jolt or Monday nights don't work for you.

If you are on facebook join up to the Canberra Necromunda League and say hello on there as well. You can't miss my posts as I was spamming it fairly often during the first few turf wars.

Exiles Wargaming Club in St Peters is looking to start a narrative style NCE campaign soon. Myself and @luster are aiming to catch up for a warm up game Wed 13th at 6pm or so there and hopefully again soon if that is too short notice.

Delaque vs Rats:

first in a one sided gang fight that saw the 13 strong Ratskins drive the Delaque from the field (and would have seen them driven from some of their territory as well in a longer campaign).

second in a closer fought Scavenger Hunt in the (Acid) Rain. Which saw the Ratskins lose their bottle just meters shy of bloody close combat with the Delaque.

Another stoush between the Delaque and the Ratskins.

2.5 hours of hard slog in tight terrain as the Delaque tried to fight off the Ratskin's Heist on the warehouse they were guarding...

The 'Skins survived a couple of Bottle tests and then finally took down 50% of the Delaque who decided enough was enough.

While waiting on the league to start we may start tracking the pre and post match with some gangs to get back in the practice before restarting with everyone else.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but do you guys still play Necromunda in Adelaide or know of anyone who does? I'm in the process of building my first Necromunda gang and I would love to have someone to play against when they are painted.

I'm still in a prolonged collecting and painting stage, mostly due to the challenges of organising a game, so not actively playing at the moment. Quite happy to start up though if you are keen. Drop me a PM if that suits you. And one day we'll even convince almic to come visit from Canberra

Sounds good RancidWalrus. I'm pretty slow at painting and I'm a good procrastinator so I understand the "prolonged collecting and painting" part of collecting minis. I'm definitely keen to work towards getting our gangs painted and playable. Almic will want to come and visit once he sees our painted minis.

Almic thanks for the offer. I don't visit Canberra very often but I do have family in Albury and Sydney so I might have to do a detour one day and get a few games in. Hardest part will be convincing the misses...

Can also highly recommend @RancidWalrus as a good bloke to play with too .
I'm based inner Eastern Suburbs. Rancid is a little more northern.
