Hi all,

I have worked on a gang builder & campaign spreadsheet, for use in LibreOffice & Collabora Office, for quite some time now. And thought I would share here.
It was made for my offline needs, due to having no net at a farm we play on mostly.
This is not meant as an insult to the great YakTribers here of course, just an alternative for offliners, and for when the great collapse happens and we have no internet anymore. Maybe we can play Necromunda in the apocalypse still eh?

If this interests you, have a play with it and let me know what you think. Your feedback would be much appreciated!

- Download and run in LibreOffice, or on Collabora Office Mobile -

v14.32 - Added Pit Slaves, Scavvies & Ratskin Renegades - Added a lot of features to the main gang sheet. Fixes, corrections.

I've downloaded a previous version, but had a fairly lengthy load time,
would it help to downsize the illustrations? (or can I downsize some off the illustrations for you?)

it could help to make your document more accessible.

Oh cool, thanks for checking it out Hobo86!
Are you running on a phone? I should just put a "lite" version on the Discord with no images in it or something, better for phones i guess. I know it does run on Collabora Office, but yeah, on an older phone like mine the stupid images will not help :D We mostly use it on tablets and laptops you see.
The images are just fluffy pics and two reference sheets, I compressed the hell out of them before adding them in, but they may not be as efficient as they possibly can be. I am no graphics guy so I do not know if I compressed them as well as I could have.

If you have time and know more than me, probable lol, I would really appreciate any help on getting images down to as efficient as possible.

But I got rid of all my lovely fluffy graphics lol. This version may load better for you on an old phone or tablet!! Hopefully!!

Thankyou for the info mate!

MacBookPro... but I might have a few tabs open, so that might affect it...
I completed a photographer study (and did a bit of basic graphic design)
normally for web-use 72 dpi would be sufficient, 100/120 dpi gives you a bit of margin

i have some time if I can help and I can downsize a few images with Lightroom or photoshop if It can help you.
(feel free to pm if you think I can help)

It has a lot in one spreadsheet, so will take a minute to load I guess. My laptop is far from powerful and it does not really hold me back. The "lite" version there is about 2.61mb, which may help.
I will be honest, I am a noob at graphics resolutions, so your dpi info gives me something to aim for when i recompress the images for a new version.
Thanks man!
This is a part of the hobby for me now lol, so I will keep plugging away at it. Your perspective gives me something to consider for future versions.

ok, normally 200dpi/300dpi is what you need for printing.
most website use is 72 dpi, as you want your files to load fast.

it still takes a while, about 40 sec... so I assume all those tabs being open affects it. (may help if other people with loading issues in google complain ;) )

Sweet, thanks for helping an old head understand dpi business!
Ah okay lol, there may be the problem with load times, as I say it is made for offline really, for use on LibreOffice & Collabora Office (free, yay!).
Best to download and run on LibreOffice or Collabora Office really. But hey, if it will work for people online on Google, then that is pretty cool!

But myself, if i am online, i am using Yakkers!

I'll probably switch to your file one of these weeks

This is a very impressive piece of spreadsheeting, very detailed and user friendly. I've been struggling to figure out how to do something much simpler on LibreOffice so I'll be learning from this for sure.

Wow Narflung, well thanks very much for taking the time to check it out and letting me know what you think. Very kind of you to say all this.
I know this will only be for certain people in the community. But it is something I was doing anyway for our group and at a certain point decided to put it out for everyone, as I spent a long time searching for something like this. I am old, and prefer offline if i can get it, plus where we play has no net. So it had to be done.

If you get stuck deciphering it, message me here, or for a faster response message me on Discord. I will try to explain the madness that went into this.

I have added so much to this since first posting, and am up to date with rulebooks, done some refining on the roster output. So am looking for people who might be interested in patiently trying this with a game or two, maybe a campaign.

Please give it a look and a playtest if you are interested in an offline list builder spreadsheet and campaign manager alternative.

Anyone who wishes to pm me either here, or on the Discord with feedback and polite critiques is most, most welcome to do so. This seems to have taken over my life and is part of the hobby now for me! :D So whether you plan to actually use this for your games or not, I would value your opinions on this. There is a VERY kind Escher enthusiast looking at this and playtesting, any other eyes seeing what they think would be of great value to me to be honest.

Thanks again.
