N18 New Delaque List For Campaign

Just looking for some feedback for this starting gang in a 4 player campaign. Using the new house of shadows book.

My main questions are.

1) Is there any reason to not run your starting gang at exactly 1000 credits
2) Based on the above question, should I drop the flechette pistol on my leader to an auto pistol

Looks perfectly fine to me. I prefer my leader to have a ranged weapon, rather than specialise for Melee but that's just me.

No reason to not take it all the way to 1,000 unless you have something you'd like to buy from the trading post at the end of game 1.

I think the Flachette is better, if you have the creds, as it's essentially S4 and ignores wounds and you really don't want to be taking any reaction attacks with a Delaque Leader. They're quite squishy if they fluff their initial attacks.

Personally, I would skinny down and run that champ with a web gun (or plasma, but web) instead of the shotty.

Especially in Delaque, champs are going to be doing all the work, might as well have a gun that's going to help him do the heavy lifting.

Otherwise looks good!

Shotguns are good though, especially given that Delaque have Executioner rounds on the house list.

Personally I prefer a Shotgun champ to have overwatch with executioners but faceless is not a terrible choice.

As an aside. I like to take a lot of shadows and Champions in my starting roster. Because I hire a Whisper Merchant I tend to grow my gang by turning the second dice into a 6 whenever I roll a free Juve on my settlement to turn them into a ganger and hire cheap gangers as creds come in.
