The lack of a Warrior Priest model sucks... Mebbe they'll make a new one for Cities of Sigmar.
I just converted one from the legs of a flagelant, chest of a regular trooper. Sculpted hammers with comets on them and gave him one of the balder heads in the flagelant kit. I'm pretty happy with the model. He looks like a priest who has seen the worst in humanity. So yeah I priest that went to mordheimThe lack of a Warrior Priest model sucks... The flagellants kit is such a great box for conversions - necromunda/40k too.I just converted one from the legs of a flagelant, chest of a regular trooper. They are from the Book of JudgementAre these existing characters from a previous book, or something new? One seems vaguely familiar and there are so many named characters now that I have trouble keeping track of them.
These are 3 year old characters yes. Low-level hive scum, highly niche because they are outlawn only AND there are several other options to choose from. I would expect very few games world wide have ever included these. Nice models, but weird priority. FW probably makes whatever they feel like, which is fair, but no regard to usefulness or playtime on the battlefield. I.e.. these are not a good choice for any average gamer, these are for whales, collectors, converters or whoever find these particularly sculpts interesting. Unlike let's say a Yhetee for Blood Blow, a model which nearly all Norse teams want to include or at minimum have access to.Are these existing characters from a previous book, or something new? I think they help to fill out the world, give a sense of how the writers see the setting. I don't mind them making a few as it adds some diversity to the range, but I think most would be better left to conversions than expensive Forge World models. A part of me also misses the days when there were fewer special characters and they actually felt special. Karloth Valois or Mad Donna would actually bring something to the table that most of the new named characters don't.I do love the models, but personally I'd rather them focus on making non-Dramatis Personae. Named characters don't get much play in my experience - too expensive for what they get you. Plus part of the appeal of Necromunda to me is making my own characters whose narratives evolve over time.
I’m still waiting to see if Escher get giant catanimal-things to ride on. I’ve predicted it, you’ve predicted it, we’ve all suspected - will they do it???
Just for laughs.
Please just give my Escher some crotch rockets!

This seems overly harsh on the first vehicle they've designed in a while that looks roadworthy (looking at you primaries Space Marine quad thingy, Orlock top-heavy mobile, and Goliath street sweeper).
I'm fine with ones that are relatively unknown and equipment light, since they can just be used as other stuff - it's when they arm them with combinations not really possible in the fluff that gets my goat.I do love the models, but personally I'd rather them focus on making non-Dramatis Personae.
