New models incoming

Get the new epic models into Necromunda and it’d be like ‘Night at the Museum’.

Now there’s an idea for a scenario… 🤔
This reminds me of Judge Dredd comics. There are miniscule robots combating garden pests. When their owners die the home is being ransacked by burglars. The robots contact the Judges and pin down the burglars with firepower until the cavalry arrives. Hilariously tiny robot characters!

Sounds a bit like the Small Soldiers movie.

The mini robot thing attacking people, not the plot.

Then there’s always the old classic:

Speaking of inconsistent internal scale but if any of you lot have seen the Star Wars Legion models try comparing the likes of the absolutely massive Count Dooku to the exquisitely proportioned Director Krennic (and the earlier clay-like Han, Leia, and Veers). All of these models were 3D sculpts; there's no excuse for them being out of scale each other especially considering they had access to many of the actors' measurements...

If anything that's far more egregious scale faux pas...

I can't really say that Star Wars Legion minis are intended to be more than gaming pieces, as just from my experience putting together a Separatist army within the past month I found that there's more consideration put into ensuring that all infantry models fit on universal 27mm bases than in keeping their canon heights proportional to one another. This of course leads to such visual oddities as 7'1" General Grievous looking pitifully small standing beside 6'4" B1 battle droids despite SWL officially being 1:47 scale.

These had passed me by until now...

I have no idea about historical accuracy, but they look quite nice imo. I'll be keeping an eye out for unboxing/reviews, while trying to think of an excuse to buy some.
Looks interesting. Probably could be good conversion fodder.

So I don't know if I missed the commenting about the blood bowl vamp team. As always with blood bowl teams I Immediately thought of mordheim. As a longtime hater oh the gw ghoul models but lover of the idea of ghouls I'm tempted to use the thralls as ghouls. Mind you, they also make great dregs and I can't exactly have them represent both. I guess weapons for the dregs bones for the ghouls.

Also current bb Ghouls look great for representing ghouls.

Oh yeah epic ball&chain! Blood Bowl got a lot of crazy rules now, so you could at minimum create a custom Blocker mercenary to hire, using a generic statline with very accurate big ork stats and upgrade with ball&chain.
