New models incoming

The new Skaven do look rather epic, almost makes me wish I played AoS. I wonder if they will do something similar to the 40k Indomidus/Leviathan boxes- you get the monopose units but they are either turned into multi-part kits or at a minimum given different weapon options.

That almost certainly is the new clanrats. They don’t do minis with posable arms any more.

I was hoping there would be another kit with the option for no shields (as was the case with the previous clanrats, who were different from the WFB IoB push-fits). But I don't know whether that's an option in the battle tome.

The new AoS apparently treats the exact equipment of a lot of units as largely cosmetic, so whether or not they have shields probably doesn't count.

Edit: I mean, I think that's more of a good thing? Nothing was as annoying as having a bunch of shiny new models you could equip with weapons that were either cool, or weapons that the meta demanded were useful. Also because the meta changes constantly and a ton of models always gathered dust on shelves. Now it's "just do whatever you think looks cool" with older kits and the new kits are geared towards that. I for one am not sad about that, because sure enough whatever I wanted to equip anything with usually wound up being less useful rules-wise.

Pretty quick turn-around on the stand-alone releases of Spyrers, so that's something at least... Probably something like $120 for six though.

Noooooo... They've not brought back the classic 4th edition miners and the old metal cannon and organ gun. They looked so much better than these crappy plastic ones.

Necromunda boxes are ~£25 each from an FLGS, and despite the Orrus box only being a single sprue and 3 bases it looks like it's going to retail at the normal price of a box rather than the ~£15 I'd expect. Ho hum.

Have plenty of Mantic's fantasy figures, but they're not always the best concerning details. These miners look like Mantic products premium priced for punters!

The metal versions would be $47 for the command and $53 for the troopers.

I just saw a list of WoC stuff that's apparently returning for The Old World. I didn't realise that half of it had gone (despite being an ex-WoC player). I remember some of those kits being new. No sign, yet at least, of the short-lived Forsaken kit returning.

Yep those ones. Although I have a different unit champion.
Didn't remember having any of those and a quick search of the dwarves I have confirmed that, unfortunately. Some metal clansmen, thunderers and even classic slayers in blisters but no candle miners. Message me if you looking for any of those.

So there's a trailer out for the new Killteam. Seems it's Scions with jetpacks vs. Tau Vespids. So that's cool, I like that KT explores smaller aspects of the different factions that will never see a full army release, like Navy Breachers and Beastmen.

Too bad for the people who had their hopes on Elysian drop troops, but I figured if at all, it would be a KT release or something similar.
