New models incoming

Interesting that it's circled back around to Chalnath. I'm wondering if they'll just cycle back through the "worlds" now, potentially re-releasing terrain kits with new models.

With Old World being targeted at the "nostalgia market" and the release of some building kits for the game, how did they overlook not making plastic kits of the iconic old High Elf towers???

Too tall. They'd be 20" to 24" minimum. And if they released that before replacing the ham fisted, tree wielding spearmen then that might be the end of what little is left of my sanity.

So 3rd Edition Kill Team now I guess.. a rewritten rulebook, etc. I kind of like the look of the box set. I have a friend that would like the Scions, I see all sorts of possibilities for painting the Vespids. The only thing that I may be a bit put off about is it looks like the map is paper from the pictures. If that's so that's just.. cheap. Hopefully I'm wrong. I've been out of Kill Team for a while and if this version makes it easier and the rules clearer I - MAY - go back to it.

I haven’t seen the playing surface yet but honestly poster paper is what they’ve been using for a while now so I guess it’s an easy way for them to include a surface.

I did like the card tiles from N17 the best though. I wish they still did them.

At one point GW experimented with mouse mat gaming mats. That experiment didn’t last long.

Sorry if anyone got a new post alert. I just saw something on t'interwebs that I thought at first was a preview, so I posted it here. But actually think it was just a conversion, so deleted it.

Didn't remember having any of those and a quick search of the dwarves I have confirmed that, unfortunately. Some metal clansmen, thunderers and even classic slayers in blisters but no candle miners. Message me if you looking for any of those.
Hmm, have you got any of these Thunderers?

Always wanted the chap with the ridiculously oversized sight. The dwarf commanders from that era were also great and I missed those too.

Im in a similar boat. I couldnt stand the GW forgetting there is a symbol widely accepted for three and deciding to invent a new one. I also hated the premade rosters with few if any options to build your team however you like. And drip fed rules for new factions, still with the "stfu no listbuilding here" approach. Listbuilding isnt my jam but Id like to pick what models I want to use, thank you.

I want from KT to let me pick any box I fancy, build and paint 10 to 15 models, and play some games easily (because rules arent too convoluted, and it being a major GW game, everyone plays it).

If they deliver on these points I may get a rulebook :)

First edition Killteam had some great folding card surfaces. The killzones and Rogue Trader had them and I’ve used them in Necro quite a bit. Seems like card playing surfaces are the way of the past now. I blame Dark Uprising!

Looks like I have dups of four metal thunderers plus two pistol champ and musician. Five longbeards, I think, plus two engineer champions, a rune priest and a metal cannon with crew. Even have five Mordheim metal dwarves plus a slayer with lots of metal weapons that went with them. Let me know if you want bigger pics or have any interest.

Not necessarily new (although there are some fresh restocks), but Bombshell Minis has their Counterblast game and models at 20% off until the 28th. They’re a US company, but they’re also having a sale on their digital files. They make the Xenos I’ve been painting recently.
