Been planning a Redemptionist gang for ages and I can safely say, that model is going nowhere near it. 
There are at least 4 minis in that new Ecclesiarchy Kill Team that would make a better Prophet of the Redemption model than this new one, and you can get a bunch of extra Redemptionists too... in plastic... probably for close to the same price as the single official resin Prophet miniature. Economics aside, I think I would have preferred the "insane hobo" preacher look with wilder hair and rattier attire; or alternatively a more well-heeled authoritarian "Torquemada-in-jackboots" look. The official mini looks like maybe the original concept was going to be a nod to the crazy hermit from Monty Python's Life of Brian, but at the last minute they chickened out and put clothes on him.
I suppose I should just be happy they didn't make him barefoot or missing one shoe, and instead put... open-toe armor plated sandals on him??? Seriously? I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh with the sculptor or at him!

Well, I remember being somewhat surprised he is Movement 8'', when I first saw his rules in the book, but I guess that is what the 'augmented power Sandals' are for
I mean, I like the hat? Being an insane prophet requires serious headgear, and this man has a hat that would make a chaos dwarf turn green with envy.
You know how it goes, you blow your budget on the best hat possible and forget to buy shoes. Or trousers. We've all been there.

Crenelated battle skirt, extra knobby knee(s), possibly missing pelvis (probably paint job/pics provided), shin guards, metal battle sandals...there's so much to mock/dislike about the model and that's only from the front. Can't wait for the 360 view. No, wait, I can.
I like the icon, shame about the man holding it.
The paint job made his breeches the same colour as the coat. That doesn't help with the "missing pelvis illusion."
I mean, the sculpt DOES technically match up to the painted image on page 48 of Vaults of Temnos. The painted image doesn't show that the boots are actually open sandals, because it doesn't show the toes. It doesn't show that the pants are torn breeches instead of trousers tucked into boots, because of the pose chosen. The sleeveless coat in the portrait comes to below the knee, where in the sculpt it comes to above the knee.

Comparing the model to the concept art, they seem to have kept most of the details, but removed the previous 'poncho/mantle' to show-off/expose the carapace armor?
The model appears to be on a 32mm base, so Goliath sized (I half expected him to be on a 40 mm base and Stimmer sized, from his rules/profile).
Overall solid model, but likely overpriced and not too difficult to convert/kitbash, so I'll pass on him.
They have definitely leaned into his being a Space Marine Scout at least, with those visual cues (size and musculature, ports for the Powered Armour, the shin armour, the Marine style bolter, the backpack echoing the Space Marine backpack silhouette, that Space Marine knife...). Should be convert-able with a mix of Space Marine and Goliath bits. Nice sculpt, of course.

I keep getting told that the picture is too large to share, but I just saw a preview of the forthcoming Stargrave plastic 'automatons'. In short, they look somewhere between servitors and pit slaves.
I haven't made my scavengers yet, but this is another kit I 'need'.

The knife scabbard even has a very faint blood drop on it, as well as an IX... Also you can tell he's obviously a space marine because he has matching shoes! (Which looks like power armour shoes, but that's secondary to him having two the same..).
Maybe this will finally spur GW to release a box of plastic servitors.
