New models incoming

Is that actually printable though? Or is it just a 3D render?

It looks like it’s a 3D object he’s digitally painted and I couldn’t spot an StL download link.

There’s a few more actual files that seem to match it, but now you mention it I’m not sure if that’s actually painted or a render 🤷‍♂️ either way I’d want a 2nd edition one and there doesn't seem to be a file. @radulykan is good at finding them.

There seems to be some suggestion on Facebook today that the Palanite Enforcers upgrade sprue has effectively been recalled by GW, something to do with being contaminated from the injection mould release??

Not sure on the levels of truth on that but apparently it won’t be available for pre order and any FLGS that has received some have been told to destroy them unopened!!

Ooh errr.

I don't have the old heavy metal Bjorn. I also could do with Njall Stormcaller or whatever his name was. Picking up the metal Blood Claws and Long Fangs would be nice too, I only have the metal Grey Hunters at the moment.

All they’re saying is that there’s an “unavoidable delay” on the extra weapons… 🤔

Last Sunday we said the Enforcer Weapons Upgrades pack would arrive for pre-orders today. Unfortunately, there has been an unavoidable delay to this product – though it will return in time. Stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more information on when it will be available.

Enforcer dice look nice though.

@Beebopalulla
the problem is the regular enforcers are more powerful now, (skills, stats, weapon acces)
the badzone enforcers are the same or have been slightly nerfed (scum)

edit:

regular enforcers:
cpt becomes a more generic leader: gets leadership & savant, loses brawn
all champions got better stats & weapon acces
subjugators became melee based profiles

free gear got removed
cunning was removed from the ganglist

5 prefectures specialist flavor builds
(palanites teamwork, dogs, vehicles, chems, bionics)

____

badzone enforcers:
Exactly the same as the WD / current skills allocation
prizes for Cpt & Sgt have increased
but the number of enlisted scum is limited to the number of enforcers

no acces to any enforcer dogs, venator, lawbot, ...

Supposedly it's because the box art has a Bolt pistol on the cover, but no Bolt pistols are to be found on the sprues they are only found in the Captain/Sergeant box

meaning they printed (and accidentally distributed) the sprues a month ago and now... they noticed it.
corporate culture sure is wonderfull at times...

I saw some suggestion of that earlier today. It’s certainly an oversight but would that constitute a scrappage order? The Sprues themselves would be sound and could be reboxed or an update sticker could been released for retailers to apply over the error - as is done occasionally.

If there’s no particular problem with the sprues themselves I suspect there may be a fair few loose ones finding their way to eBay…

Wargames Atlantic looks like they have a nice set of religious weirdos that might be good to supplement a Cawdor/Redemptionist gang. A little pricey for 7 figures, though one of them is some kind of brute or robot.

Keeping on with Wargames Atlantic, they’re starting to realise their Sharpe based models now. Sharpe himself is out and £20 for kit.

What I find interesting here is that you get both a 54mm model and a 28mm model on the same sprue. Plus the 28mm is multipart, it has head and arm options!!

It struck me… this is what GW should’ve done with Inquisitor. Or do with Inquisitor if they ever return to it.

Plastic!!!! Same character. Both scales.

Then you could play at either scale with the same character, it would get people used to seeing and using the larger 54mm kits and the smaller 28mm could be used in other games such as 40k or Necromunda.

Plus did I mention that this kit is £20?!? That’s cheaper than a lot of GW characters as-is!!

Ok if GW did it, it would be more expensive but if they could hold the prices back into something in line with what they have already then it could be a winner! Even if you only use the larger one as a display piece or a statue!!

Of course if they do no doubt it’ll be ForgeWorld resin kits at £55 a character… 😞

Yes, that's a safe bet.
Definitely. We'll even complain about possible complaints for models that don't and probably never will exist.

On the subject of complaints, they want £25 for Njall Stormcaller! That'll be a no then. (Bjorn is actually reasonably priced for the amount of metal needed for one of those old Dreadnoughts, but I've got a wishlist as long as my arm already).

Also shame they didn't include the old Wolf headed Captain model. I might have bought the three model box if he was in there instead of the other dude.

Edit: I'm very torn on this. I don't have Classic Bjorn or the Rune Priest in Terminator armour or the Tech Priest. Problem is I can only really afford one set and payday isn't for ten days...

I think people would just complain that you have to buy both when you only want one scale.
That’s why they would then write rules into the system that uses both! 🤣

You will buy all these miniatures and be happy. You will.

Yeah the trio and Bjorn are the best deals there.
