New models incoming

Bjorn is a legend!

Honestly I checked eBay and the prices are roughly around the GW mark - except you have to strip the crappy paint off.

I guess if you can get one from someone else and it’s in reasonable condition - win.
I’m thinking I might just cave in for once and get the GW offering.

It’ll make a nice surprise when it arrives next April. 🤣

The aforementioned Frostgrave cultists III is now available for pre-order:

There are some pre-order bundle deals, if you want other cultists sets or select Stargrave sets. (They're not of much interest to me, since I already have all of these sets anyway.)

Another surprise that may be of interest is that the sprue includes a chainsaw. (I don't think this is getting Frostgrave rules. It's just a random extra for kitbashing.)

That is one hell of a deal, 4 warbands 60 something quid. When I converted warbands it would easily cost the same just for a single warband. Sure you could go easy and make something cheap, but to get that unique look is expensive no matter where you buy minis.

yes, just yes, ...

my 'make a badzone gang out subjugators' idea is ticking down to:
-3 subjugator boxes
-3 palanite boxes
-1 officer and sgt box
-1 weapon upgrade box (when they release those)
-1 hive scum box (there's still space to improve this number...)
-random bits orders

on topic, there are quite a few off these collections...
2 per main AOS faction and some are mordheimable.

-transforming the subjugators to bolter/shotgun carriers means using the subjugator supporting heavy weapon arms
(2 per box / some from bits trades - main bottleneck)
-picking magnetizable shotguns and boltguns that adapt to the above means having enough of these
-and misdrills/spruegoo accidents (-2)

that leaves me with a few extra spare sgt/specialists to have 2 'gangbuilds' / 18 enforcers

Yeah, I saw that and was like "Wow, I never knew I really didn't need that."

Also, according to echoes in the warp, people on the internet are angry about it again, but I've been actively avoiding all that for a while and do not plan to stop now. Maybe they have a good reason, but somehow I doubt it.

The Warhammer quest might be tempting, depending on price and availability obviously. I find myself very much in a classic dungeon crawler/d&d mood at the moment so some good quality GW minis that will serve for such games would be very nice.
