I've just kitbashed a(nother) bunch of scavvies, so this is entirely plausible.
If there are any old X-wing or Aeronautica Imperialis players looking to try out a new ruleset with some of their models currently collecting dust, Osprey Games' Voidfighter seems to be pretty good from my reading. I'll be dusting off my X-wing fleets and working out stat blocks this week for fun.

Yeah, those Squats are a tiny bit annoying me. Why? Because now that I almost finished my heavy bolter conversion, they go and create a kit with a heavy bolter.

The Wardens of Ultramar set has some great Necromuda model conversion fodder, if you ignore the two space marines.
Do we think the justicars will be plastic or resin? I reckon it’ll be a resin kit but hopefully I’m wrong.
