Rogue doc needed a mediskull? A mediskull is great to have sure, but for a rogue doc? Does a rogue doc even need a model?!?
Most of the hangers-on have this problem that you only need the model when things have gone very wrong, i.e. when you roll badly as the defender and they take part in the battle.Rogue doc needed a mediskull? That's the thing. Very few missions have Hometurf Advantage. And half of those will see a rogue doc on the battlefield. If you have one. And to top if off, rogue doc now gets an additional model!! Both Rogue Doc and Mediskull are ancient, released around the same time around 2017/18 I think. Now, 8 years later they are combined together. Clearly based on the sculptors discretion. Sculptors who never played the game nor read the rules? Looks cool though and is thematic. But way too late. Most of the hangers-on have this problem that you only need the model when things have gone very wrong, i.e. when you roll badly as the defender and they take part in the battle.
I still like making models for my henchers, but you could just use a generic token, considering how rarely they come up.
You could be right. I assumed that the crouching dude with the long-las couldn't be the dome runner as they can only have a stub gun or laspistol, but they may update that too. Might actually make them worth taking! Fingers crossed that you're right!I’ll be buying a few boxes of these.
I assumed the hive watcher was the floating guy, he’s got a telescope in one of hands.
that protect that lovely white/blue pristine armorWhy would they wear an apron? To keep blood and gore off their armor?!? Not very Khornate.
it's an official model it was mentionned in the releases a while backIt's an odd model. The apron as pointed out seems pointless but has precedent - lots of marine chapters enjoy a nice robe. The bit I find strange is the bare arms. Not just because they look odd, but because there's no interface for the arm sculpted onto the torso. The arms should look like they're coming out of the body, but they look like they're glued on. Which they are, because it's a model, but it shouldn't look like that. (Also there's no locking system/seal/whatever for if he was wearing his sleeves).
(Is this a secret new model leaked or someone's conversion?)
Probably to prevent too much blood & gore washed off in case of rain. Why would they wear an apron? To keep blood and gore off their armor?!? Not very Khornate.
Isn't that what 40k is all about? Clunky arms glued to torsos, like a robot? It's an odd model. The apron as pointed out seems pointless but has precedent - lots of marine chapters enjoy a nice robe.
