Why is he equipped with a leaf blower? They have trees now in the under hive? Is he part of the street cleaning crew? What is going on in the under hive???

Well, it's some special flame weapon like the flame pike on the redemptionist boys, I'd wager.
I’m still not sure what this weapon is supposed to be. “Ignition Cannon” sounds awfully like a flamer but the Goliath already have those.
If anything it looks like a Goliath version of the Ghostbusters proton pack!

Well, that's one tradition from the last Munda they kept alive. Designing kind of niche weapons that are fun in a vacuum.
Just like the Rivet cannon. It's fun, it's characterful, there are cheaper, better or simply more useful alternatives in the Goliath gang roster alone, and you'll immediately get outranged by some Escher juve with a rusty stub gun.

So - paperback book #2 has been announced, unsurprisingly it’s House of Chains! Yes it contains all the Genesmithing stuff, more alternate lists and other content. New Rules thread covers that lot.
For me… hmmm I’m not sure on these. Some look ok, others have weird decisions and the back view of the gun arm guy is just odd. Another victim of their painting style??
The one admiring his bicep would’ve been better if there wasn’t a huge cable anchor point on there - now he just looks like he’s looking at a sore on his arm.
The Sumpcrocs, while nice are now on 50mm bases, giving them more room but for those who have the older 40mm based croc - is it worth upgrading? There is a lot of wasted space on those bases.

oh, i do not like those new goliaths at all. far too many bionic implants for my taste. and why do two of them have bionic weapon arms? this stuff is more fitting for pit slaves.
Ah, @Punktaku this is their new fluff you see. Started in the “Necromunda: The Hardback Years” era with them being essentially cloned slave workers. Even the Slave Guild entourage has a mini that looks almost exactly like an old pit slave in.
Plus a lot of them seem to have embedded cables and the like.
There’s something a little “off” with them.
My favourite body here would be the slimmer ones, followed by the croc.

Provided the mini looks comfortable on there (no 25mm based monstrosities) then its fine in my book
They've been pushing the style that pretty much all imperial citizens have a few bionics for a while now, so I don't mind that. Delaque all have some sort of headware, all Van Saar have that dataplug ponytail, if anything the Orlock and Escher are the odd ones out for having nothing.
The models themselves look cool all in all, buty plan is to only update my Delaque and maybe my Orlocks for this one, so I'm using the old Cowboy method of doubling my money by folding it over and sitting on it.

Me neither. Unnatural poses, no clear body languare and no action. Skipping these. I also do not like the fact that the croc has this huge base, twice the size of regular Nedcro model. This limits where it can go - no narrow alleys for the croc, so good luck following its owner...
