I'm guessing those rules are intended mostly for the one-off Mortalis games, hence why they don't have all his kit and seem a bit weak for a bounty hunter and for his cost. Perhaps in the next supplement he'll be back as a beefed up special character which could be alternately used as a generic bounty hunter for the campaign games.

Btw the chainsword doesn't appear to have a Strength boost which is a bit odd.

I just finished that too - really like my weekly hour of Andy H (Peachy was great too actually)

Andy: "My special skill is I can group activate multiple designers."

Did chuckle at that one. :)

I would imagine because there is no such thing as a competitive Necromunda scene to either engage with, or to worry about placating

They didn't involve those people in writing the rules, they were play testing.

Obviously I would love to be invited to go playtest this stuff, but I'd imagine they aren't exactly hard pressed to find volunteers

There is mentioned that Gor Half-horn can be used in the campaigns and how that works, and yes its weird that he doesn't have more weapons shown on the card as there is mentioned that he has grenades and a stiletto knife, very odd.

at him would be the enemy in that case.
I dont know why but I read that as the enemy would be the one in the case... as in, he's turning back up to the guys who hired him with the bounty now 'reorganised' into travel size for your convenience.... maybe I need a break from work for a bit...

@Thorgor yeah. i think that “omg! what is that?!? kill it! a lot!” would cover most underhiver’s reaction to a beast man emerging from the darkness. or maybe “scavvy! kill it! a lot!” could work too. “die mutant die”
Granted, that would be a likely first time reaction.
However, we all know how this kind of scene plays out in fiction: the first few gangers to display hostility towards our beastly anti-hero soon find their initial enthusiam somewhat tempered by a faceful of plasma, and their comrades can't but stare at him relighting his cigare with his hot pistol's barrel and growling "So kids, are you gonna take me to your leader or what? I'd love to stay and play with you but the grown-ups need to talk business and I aren't got all day."

aye the average hiver would run and hide at the sight of a bounty hunter anyway but gangers and juves tend to be full of bravado. It also sounds as though this particular SD agent has made a name for himself so people are going to know who he is (despite his lack of distinctivness); some will try to take him down but as it says in his fluff, no one has bested him yet.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while, and can barely contain my excitement for Necromunda! It's time for me to join the discussion.

I was reading the rules for Gor and noticed that in a one-off game you pay his cost as listed on the card. Comparatively; in a campaign game, it does not specifically say to pay the cost on his card, rather it references the Gang War book. What are those rules? I know that in Classic NM the one game hired gun cost was roughly 20% of their full value...
