N18 New player - Delaque and Cawdor starting gangs

Looking to get into Necromunda and figured a couple of balanced gangs would be a good start (gives me options for pick-up games locally, as well as being able to host games for 'munda-curious friends). Advice on the loadouts would be great. I'm not looking for the most powerful lists and have avoided plasma (personal restriction - something to add in a campaign as the gang advances); however, I would like to avoid being too much of a pushover (i.e., can be competitive but not min-max). All comments welcome.

Cawdor (1000; 11 models)
Priest - Unshakable Conviction, Mesh Armour, Chain Axe w/ Exterminator and Stub Gun
Deacon - Devotional Frenzy, Mesh Armour, and Eviscerator
Firebrand - Step Aside, Flak Armour, Long Rifle and 2xReclaimed Autopistol (Witch Hunter conversion)
Redemptionist Brethren Specialist - Flak Armour and Shotgun
2xBrethren - Flak Armour and Polearm/Blunderbuss
2xBrethren - Reclaimed Autogun
Bonepicker - Flail and Stub Gun

a few minor remarks:

Cawdor:
-the deacon has higher bs than ws. possibly a grenade launcher w smoke grenades may offer more utility?

delaque:
-overwatch is a bit suboptimal on your master of shadows and both weapon sets would operate In the same range,
you could go for a leadership build (overseer or similar), the psy powers or a second infiltrator?
-don't forget you have a minus to hit when using 2 pistols, it's a risk (you may be willing to take... short range you do more damage)

-edit: you also can't shoot the web pistol and auto pistol at the same time

Delaque:
drop the auto pistols on your leader, phantom, webgun juve and get your leader executioner rounds for their shotgun. That should synergize well with overwatch.
I probably wouldn't armor up your pawns--ghosts and juves--at the start, but that's just me. You could use those credits for better guns or more fighters.

For Cawdor, I avoided the grenade launcher as I’ll need to source the part but I like the idea of having a ranged deacon that can upgrade to the grenade launcher in a campaign. Easiest switch here is to swap the weapons between the specialist and the deacon (eviscerator and shotgun), and switch the skill to Scavenger’s Eye.

For Delaque, I really struggled with how to equip the MoS. I want a leader to do something independently (ie not overseer) but maybe I am being too restrictive and should give him a plasma gun. The 2xAutopistol is for a cheap ‘melee’ option, taking advantage of rapid fire. Here is my current thinking:

Seems fine, I would caution against dual wielding pistols too much (especially on juves).
 
This has helped me, I want to have fun with delaque but not make it too easy for opponent. I think a nacht-gul with servants fangs is rude not to bring. But this makes me feel sad for the MOS.
