N18 New Player: Escher gang

I'm building my first list and would love some input.
I've got models built for the Queen with stiletto sword and combi bolter/needler and Death maiden with whip (could add some additional weapon, but the wip has to stay).

This list will be going up vs Van Saar mainly.
The idea is to have sufficient gas to cover the Death Maiden advancing, and to have the little sisters as meat shields for her. Supported by a gun line, with the Queen being capable of some melee also. Considering if it would be better to drop the Plasma gun Matriarch for another death maiden.
Hoping to tech chem alchemy later, and adding wyldrunners to support the death maiden.

Queen: Stiletto sword, combi bolter/needler. Spring up.235
Death maiden: Shock Whip, Venom Claw, Mesh. Spring up. 185
Matriarch: Plasma gun. Spring up. 200

Sister (specialist): Grenade luncher, gas grenade. 120
Sister: Lasgun, gas grenade. 70

Little sister: Stub gun, gas grenade. 40

Don't Van Saar have terrible initiative? In which case you may find Photon Flash grenades more useful (and cheaper!) than Gas grenades on your Juves. The Photons 5" blast is also more forgiving of the Juves 5+ BS.

You don't have any armour on your queen or your matriarch? Id start both of them off with Mesh.

I'd also consider starting with Smoke on your grenade launcher, it will force your Van Saar opponent to tech into gear to counter it (assuming they won't be doing that out the gate) for the cost of one grenade type to you.

Drop the gas grenade from your sister with the lasgun, she won't ever be in range to throw it.

I'd switch up the DM with either a power sword or Stiletto sword instead of the whip and claw and make use of combat virtuoso skill. A power sword with 3" versatile range. I agree with storm too about removing the gas grenade off the ganger and swapping for photon on the little sisters. you could almost purchase another ganger for the points saving .

maybe also take a lasgun backup for your matriach as plasma guns are always running out of ammo.

I'll just add on by saying that the needler/bolter is kind of a fluff weapon, against van saar who dont go over 2 wounds, theres not much point to having the needler on there as it just repeats the function of the boltgun while adding the combi trait which makes both weapons worse. Because of the combi trait the needler doesnt even make a good backup weapon when the boltgun runs out of amma because the boltgun will run out of ammo so much quicker.

For the 25 points difference between a regular bolter and a combi needle/bolter, you can buy a little sister with stub gun and round out to 10. Giving you one more body to go down before van saars superior fire power starts smacking your tougher girls.

I'd cut down on the number of little sisters, one or two is fine, four armed with stub guns is going to struggle to have an impact - remember they only have a 5+ BS, stub guns are only s3 ap0. Your not going to hit often with them, and when they do its not going to hurt much.

Switching two of them out for say, a shotgun sister would give you some more punch.

Alternately mesh armour for your leader and champion isn't a bad shout, or knives for your little sisters as they're not bad at melee if they can get in

Good point I didn't notice. Get mesh on your leader and plasma champ! Honestly, it seems like a pain in the ass, less fighters/weapons. But the save chance reaaaallly helps. If your plasma champ dies permanently, or goes out to recovery, thats over 200 creds. Even if she's gone for a game, thats a big tax.
