Hello to all!!

new to the forums and necromunda, was just looking to get some feedback or advice from seasoned players as to the new gang lists I created

Shadow Troop Marys Gang

do these lists seem ok?

alsodoes this seem pretty equal in terms of strength, or do you think one gang will continually run away with games like this? also considering goliath so wanted some higher str and ap in there for both gangs.

Thanks in advance :D maybe ill see you in the underhives!

Wanting to build my gangs asap (today even) so really would like some guidance if possible, i think mostly around the gang leader for delaque, is sprint plasma a good idea, i wanted to keep him safe, however long rifle and oveseer with another fighter with the plasma may be a choice, has to go on a ghost special tho as I cant get the executioner ammo on a ghost, meaning hitting on 4s from 12+ so may not be worth overseeing from distance, thoughts?

The Delaque list seems fine. I'm curious why you didn't take a nacht ghul?

For the Escher list the melee champ would be better as a Death Maiden instead. You probably want Spring Up on any melee model.
No reason to have the stubgun on the grenade launcher model. I also don't think Escher have primary access to the shooting skill tree, you're going to need to pick a different skill.

Thanks, i guess i was expecting it to tell me if its iilegal, ill change that skill up, and i just dont have a nacht ghul or deathmaiden yet, playing with the starter + upgrade sprues

If im playing a campaign, can i just recruit those more expensive bois later? or is it best to take them at creation?

Unless your group is really heavy on WYSIWYG, then I think it's fine to do "counts as" models.

How does the matriarch claire have 2 starter skills? Also says jill the deathmaiden has a missing skill selection.

Regarding delaque, looks fine. I kinda question the value of sprint on the leader with the plasma gun, not because either the skill or the weapon are bad, but because you can't use both at the same time.

what would you use instead?

Master of Shadows with a plasma gun? Spring Up can be a stand out skill for them. They have a decent Initiative, and Initiative is cheap (both in experience and gang rating) to increase. It is useful to allow a pinned fighter to shoot, but is also useful for cover shenanigans to avoid being shot - prone behind cover cannot be targeted for shooting attacks, so that protects, and then Spring Up as a free stand up at the beginning of Activation still leaves them two actions (for example to shoot and then go prone again with Take Cover, and so avoid being shot until next round). That seems very "Delaque shootist". Infiltrate can also be an obvious Delaque skill choice [though bear in mind that on some tables combined with some scenarios, placing during Infiltrate can leave you few choices about placement].

Both of those also help with getting them safely toward somewhere - whether through Infiltrate starting close to that somewhere, or Spring Up's "Move and Take Cover, next turn Spring Up and Move and Take Cover" trick.
