Suggestion New players /users introduction thread

We should have a thread for new players/users to introduce themselves and look for players/ clubs in their local area.

I’ve recently relocated and starting to look for games and players in my area, however it’s very difficult without Facebook.

A thread would be a good way for new users to introduce themselves and find like-minded local yaktribesmen and women who share the same interests.

For instance:

Edster, Nottingham UK
Interested in - gaming and Hobby
Games - Necromunda Underhive, Gorkamorka
Looking for - local games/ campaign for Necromunda Underhive.
FLGS - Warhammer World

I think there are, or were supposed to be, more tools on the way. Not sure what the latest is there. I suppose you could also post in the campaigns section (https://yaktribe.games/community/forums/campaigns.8/) along the lines of 'anyone want to join a campaign in Nottingham?'

If you are, in fact, in Nottingham then I suspect there are some local players...

The new player meet tools are almost finished on dev. I have to wait on the map plugin for XenForo to be released for XF2, which is the last plugin required before I upgrade the forums.
