Yes, it has been pointed out. The things is the miniatures has a power pick. it's suspected that the power maul was a copy past from book of the outland where it was a mistake.
Looks like they get their own Nomad Trading Post?!?
Now they have!I still hope they'll get an update... (the enforcers/badzone enforcers)
there's a few lore 'options' that never got rules; investigators, psychic cops/champions, specialized subgroups
the bounty hunter rules can correct a bit, but they remains limited.
After millennia of House Helmawr’s rule, Ozostium Aranthus now stands atop Hive Primus, and the resulting disruption of the planetary tithe results in an ultimatum being made by the Imperial Fists – House Helmawr has 100 days to regain control of the planet and eliminate Ozostium. Meanwhile, Kal Jericho has stolen away Lord Helmawr’s body and seeks aid from House Delaque, Lady Haera journeys back from Hive Secundus to seize her throne, and all the Houses and gangs begin to mobilise in response.
In The Aranthian Succession: Spire of Primus you’ll find out how the tale ends, before completing your own Aranthian Succession narrative with the new Reconquest of Hive Primus campaign, which include rules for taking over Spire Districts as you fight for the throne.
Seven new narrative scenarios and a multiplayer scenario also feature, plus rules for the Justicar Courts, Palanite Justicar Delegations, Aranthian-aligned gangs, and rules for Ozostium himself.
There’s certainly an argument to be made that the actual page count of rules in these books is low enough that you could just take them out and combine several into one handbook.More books = more fluff, which is good!
Rules wise, Necro is already way to bloated - thus even more stats does not really alter anything.
That’s actually quite a good suggestion, given the power shift in the modern game.I’m thinking GW should have started N17 with that storyline. Helmawr was murdered, the houses are mobilizing (which would explain why the gangs are more like paramilitary groups than gangs), the crap is hitting the fan. Aranthian Succession would fit cleanly into that narrative.
Could have been the Legion Imperialis campaign release this time around. It would make for a cheeky club table at Salute. Huge imperialis game but it's just piles of Pro-Aranthian vs Pro-Helmawr infantry. Maybe lighter vehicle rules used for the barges and boats on the Sump Sea portion of the table?...

It would be nice to get a few more bodies for variety, though I’d think by now every existing player would’ve got all the Champions they need. Now this champs-box, alongside the Enforcer's makes me think they may do one such box for each House gang to pad-out the next year of Necro releases wich is exciting and annoying at the same time (always welcome new sculpts/poses, but annoyed I already made 5-10 champ variants from the base gang boxes for most of the gangs).
Yes. Mostly likely it will.In general there may be 10 pages on average of actual new rules content per book. Everything is blueprinted, campaign, territories, scenario, hired guns++. Already got 10 campaigns and at least 173 scenarios. Won't it just be more of the same?
