I really like the way the nomads and ratskins have been combined, so for me they can be omitted, but in a grim-dark toxic hell-hole, the Scavvies/mutants/plague zombies are a crazy omission. (The Warhammer community article is an insult, and doesn't count!) The only thing I can think is they aren't sure how to do multipart modular mutations...
Yep, nice to see a plastic release of these - including some rules updates (keep it on thread topic) for some models and the others are existing or new I think.View attachment 213520

Generic PLASTIC Hanger-ons box !!!?
SHUT UP and TAKE MY MONEY!
Heck, I might preorder 2x boxes, just because...![]()
Btw, I believe the 'servitor-looking dude' with the Telescope is supposed to be the Dome runner, while the Sniper kneeling over a map is the 'new' Hive Watcher.Yep, nice to see a plastic release of these - including some rules updates (keep it on thread topic) for some models and the others are existing or new I think.
What is sad though is that it is yet another big fat hardback book they wish people to buy to use part of this box release.
- Ammo-Jack and Slopper are unchanged
- Dome Runner and Rogue Doc have updated rules (but you could just use the ones you have)
- Hive Watcher is new.
That watcher I could see being converted into a nice Orlock Servitor drone though (not the one on tracks, the more static one which is technically scenery).
I also thought that was the case, but GW released Facebook pictures where they stated telescope guy was the hive watcher and the sniper is the dome runner, (so the dome runner now has a longlas, somehow)Btw, I believe the 'servitor-looking dude' with the Telescope is supposed to be the Dome runner, while the Sniper kneeling over a map is the 'new' Hive Watcher.
Granted I could easily see it as either a Dome runner, Gang lookout or Hive Watcher (these are all basically the same character archetype), but I guess it is most likely some of these will be used as Hive scum, Bounty hunters and/or Outcast gangers in practice.
If you can trust Facebook. And GWI also thought that was the case, but GW released Facebook pictures where they stated telescope guy was the hive watcher and the sniper is the dome runner, (so the dome runner now has a longlas, somehow)
Well, it is not like GW to actually pay attention to what their models are supposed to be equipped wit; for example the Squat Claim jumper model has a rather obvious Power pick, but in the rules it somehow morphed into a Power maul...I also thought that was the case, but GW released Facebook pictures where they stated telescope guy was the hive watcher and the sniper is the dome runner, (so the dome runner now has a longlas, somehow)
So, yeah the Dome Runner has been updated in the new book, which probably covers a wider variety of weapons for them.Updated rules for the Rogue Doc with medi skull and Dome Runner, and new rules for the Hive Watcher, are all available in the upcoming book Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession – Spire of Primus

I was not expecting that!BTW, new FAQ for Necromunda just came out:

Q. Does a model get XP when they cause an enemy
fighter to become Webbed?
A. No.
PAGE 96 – TAKE DOWN
Replace the text with the following text:
When this fighter takes an enemy fighter Out of Action,
roll a D6 before rolling on the Lasting Injury table. On
a result of a 4+, the fighter automatically suffers a
(55-56) Captured result instead of rolling on the table.
Otherwise, roll on the Lasting Injury table for them
as usual.
Q. Can you explain further how the Power Pack trait
works when making close combat attacks?
A. If a model has any weapons with the Power Pack
trait and also the Melee or Sidearm trait, then in
addition to any attacks they normally make the
fighter may make exactly one attack with each of
those weapons. No other attacks may be made with
them and these attacks may not be used with any
other weapons.
For example, if a fighter had an Attacks characteristic
of 3, a power sword, a gem extractor and a circular
stone saw then when they attack they would make
three attacks with the power sword, one with the gem
extractor and one with the circular stone saw.
A bit more than that (following lists not exhaustive). At least it now confirms which of the current books are still valid and which are now discontinued and can be ignored.
