Next release: Dark Elves

It looks like the next team (after Doom Lords) will be Dark Elves. I have to say that surprised me a bit, as a) they got a 'made to order' metal team and b) I was half-expecting them to be a resin upgrade on the Pro Elves.

It looks like 2x (3 line elves, 1 runner, 1 blitzer, 1 witch elf) and apparently an assassin of some sort (star player or regular) being released as a separate model. There's also a Spike magazine, pitch, dice, etc.

Dark Elves are probably my favourite team (even though I'm running mine as Pro Elves in our current league), but I doubt I'll be replacing my current models. I might pick up some of the extras though.

The new Dark Elf team looks magnificent. Have you seen their helmets? Their design are a throwback to the aesthetic of 1989. Cheerleaders will also follow. A great time to be in the hobby. Let´s hear some chants from these cold-hearted beauties:

It's nice to see a whole bunch of cheerleaders (why them and not other sideline pieces I wonder?) but, given FW prices, I don't know how many people will bother.

well they have made ref's... I imagine if cheerleaders do well they will then do assistant coachs, maybe an apoc model.

True, they made refs, but they're a bit different - they're not part of your team.

I wouldn't mind an apo model, just so I could throw it across the room when he turns out to be useless...

I'd gone four games without using my apo - despite some lineman deaths - until last night when my star catcher (5 TDs in as many games) failed a dodge and suffered a leg injury. The apo's only contribution was offering to put him out his misery. I swear he should be treating race horses, not elves!

but they are the same... both flight creatures of immense arrogance and stupidity, not well built for contact sports, go lame at the slightest breeze, basically the apoc was doing the only humane thing you can do with an elf...

A blodge, catch, nerves of steel elf is still useful, even with MA7.

(He is 140TV, but my opponent last night had a +MA +AG Ghoul who was the same TV and stats, but without three skills...)

Shadowforge do a whole range of Cheerleaders for different races.

These are my New Inland PatriOrk Jeerleaders.

They also do race specific coaches, Refs, Etc.
