8mm is annoying to me personally. Just another 2 mm and it would have been an inch to cm straight conversion, and matched my currect project.Old Epic is 6mm. Aeronautica Imperialis and Adeptus Titanicus are 8mm scale which is what Legions Imperialis will be.
As I've mentioned before, I have pretty much everything already for AI and AT, so I'm very much looking forward to LI as are my friends in our gaming group. They also have a lot of AI and AT so being able to use our models in another game is a bonus for us.
Hopefully when it comes out next month (probably releasing at or around GenCon is my thought) my friends took the hint and will be chipping in to get me a copy.
“Crush armies underfoot” is probably not the best advertising slogan…I’m probably slow to the mark, but just come across this and am feeling very excite! Very nice!

I think they’ve had a resurgence of late so prices may well be peaking with these releases as people dig out older collections and want to add to them.Just hope it doesn't depress prices of old epic. It's taken me 30years but just realised they're never getting to the front of the painting Queue.
Just sold my old epic warhounds and imp guard. Just need to offload Space Marines and Orks. Bizarrely still having to resist urge to keep odds and ends to finish painting...
3D printers will solve that issue soon. In fact if there’s full scale kits around you could just shrink them now!£30 quid for two diddy baneblades??? Are they having a laugh, I new I shouldn't have left the sump for somewhere more positive....
Scourge scenics have been selling 8mm baneblades for a good while now. Not quite as detailed as the GW kits but about half the price.3D printers will solve that issue soon.
