Can a Outcast House gang use the Clan House gang specific Brute?

The rules mention that the Outcasts can buy Exotic Beasts but pets are more akin to Wargear than Fighters.

It states Weapons and Wargear.
Not specific fighters. So no house brutes unless they are generic, Ambot Ogryn etc, or have alternative hiring means.

Brutes no but exotic pets yes they are wargear. Not the same thing but useful. Also if you're gang is outlaw you have acces to the generic outlaw brutes from whitedwarf 458.

Use the option to elevate a House Brute to leader.
Make the gang House affiliated as well.
Have the Cawdor Brute Outcast leader proclaim themselves leader of ToadTown.
Have it all!

The outlaw brute the sump beast is pretty customisable from the white dwarf and incoming Apocrypha book.
The house brutes are all good at least and some down right terrifying, freaky tentacle fish monster delaque looking at you..., but nothing goes wrong with the trusty Ambot. On its own nothing is wrong with the joten servitor Ogryn except over the page is the Ambot.
The Iron automata is another interesting option. The Outlands beast master is another interesting brute. Why have one monster when you can get three?
