Really enjoyed making this kit! The instructions arnt the best, but there’s a ton of options and loads of variation once you get your head around it!

If Victrix wanted to embarrass GW on their sparse starter set for Necromunda, they succeeded. Though in reality they were always planning this awesome little starter set so that’s all the more welcoming!!
Look at all that lovely terrain… and loot… plus some minis, game mat, poster, rules and so on.

So without seeing it I’m guessing it has everything in the set but extra factions and other maybe advanced rules aren’t in there.
For existing players they say:

Presumably it's just those numbers because it's one sprue of each and actually playing they won't suggest using all the vikings. Good set though with all those neat extras.
Vicrix is knocking it out of the park at the moment, I'm trying to not buy their latest Roman set because I have no use for it but it's such a nice set and I just want to build it. Which is reason enough to buy it really...

Yeah, looks like a sprue limitation thing.
Saying that - I do like the combined loot sprue!! Hopefully that’ll be coming to the cover of a Wargames Illustrated in the future!!

As @MusingWarboss said, Victrix is knocking it out of the park lately, both in quality and value. I wish I was more of a historical gamer than I am (not much actually.. LOL) as the kits they're coming out with are gorgeous. I rather like the new starter set and do like "starter rulebooks" that ease you into a new set of rules and not inundate and overwhelm you at the start. Extra scenarios that are narrative driven are always a plus in my book too. I should really take a break from painting all my Trilaterum and paint my warband. 
A second sprue of Irish in that set would have knocked it out of the park but as is, it seems extremely mismatched and a little dull.
What are they going to suggest for forces? Even choosing a really bad loadout for the Irish (hand weapons, Dane axes and shields on a few), you get 6 Irish vs 3 Vikings which is going to be a really small game.
With 12 Irish you would have 2 well balanced forces with enough models actually make for a decent game.
I love their minis and the new terrain is fantastic, but as a starter set, this is a swing and a miss for me.
