In my general Internet searching I have found a few reviews on this solo gaming supplement from Two Fat Lardies.
It’s primarily designed for WW2 games, possibly favouring other products from TFL but otherwise game agnostic.

I’ve read a few reviews of people using it in Bolt Action and one was using Flames of War bases - so I guess it works for that too.

It seems to take somewhat of an RPG approach by proving a set of tools to allow you to create interesting characters and an opponent which negates you knowing your own moves and countering them. Thus it aims to make the fictional opponent for you more random but not so much as to be unrealistic.

Now, I’ve not tried it but I’m very tempted as I think it potentially could be useful so I can get some Bolt Action in without having to rely on anyone else. Potentially other games too.

The scenarios section is often highly regarded.

Anyone given it a go?

It’s currently £6.50 for the PDF from TFL.

I will check it out on Youtube. Is there only a PDF version and no book?
I believe so. It’s one of their older products now so it may once have had a physical release but at the moment it seems to be a PDF download.

You could have it printed and bound yourself though, using a service like Doxzoo - I did that with my Necromunda Community Edition so I could have a nice physical book at events.
