Lets hope so! I spotted a
Did anyone catch tonight’s show?

Caught some of it - didn't say much about the plans for gang war / compilation / Delaque, other than suggesting we tune in on Thursday.

They did say BFG Wasn't in the pipeline for a long time - and nixed vehicle rules for necromunda (in the game as it stands) perhaps alluding to the previously suggested other settings...

The Ambot model was mentioed as being released soon™. I didn't watch the stream but it but saw it mentioned elsewhere. Doesn't seem to have been much else.

Does BFG "not being in the pipeline for long" mean they dropped it or it didn't take them long to create?

I managed to see it in its entirety. Someone asked Andy if the ambot would be out soon, he said that there will be a model but "depends what you mean by soon".

Re BFG, he said that the specialist games team is 12 people and that re-doing BFG at this point would mean nobody working on Necromunda and blood bowl for the next 2 years which he said is not going to happen. They do want to do BFG but resources are thin.

He also hinted at what's next. He said that they will not be redoing outlanders as such but will be doing the outlander gangs (I took this to refer the outlaw rules etc). Also said that there seemed to be a lot of excitement for enforcers so will be looking at them in the not too distant future. Andy mentioned that the sale of van Saar models surprised them (in a good way) and suspect that a lot of this could be for 40k cross over.

I'm unlikely to get to see Thursday's sessions so if anyone could take notes??

Please!!!!

I'll try to get back from work in time to take some on thursday - I signed up to twitch specifically for last nights, and was a bit disappointed... ha.

Me too but I can't work out how to subscribe in order to watch it back...

There wasn't much substance there but considering it wasn't a Necromunda dedicated session I'm not upset about it. At least he touched on a few things rather than just say tune in Thursday!

Tbh, after hearing rumours that Necromunda might not be doing so well it was heartening to listen to. They didn't go overboard with future plans or whatnot but their general attitude towards the game suggests they're not done with it just yet.

How on earth do you twitch??? I need to see this...
For those wondering, you can tune in to twitch.tv/warhammer to watch the livestream, so that's tomorrow from 4pm GMT onwards.

Older content can be watched only if you are a paid subscriber. It's 5 USD a month, although you can get one free subscription if you have an Amazon Prime account I think (heard it said many times, no idea how that works though). As the subscription gives access to the past 1.5 years or so of content and can be cancelled every month, it's not a bad investment even just once to watch back hours of stuff - if you like interviews and battle reports that is. Decent stuff for in the background while painting. You can also only ask questions in the chat during a livestream if you're a subscriber if I'm not mistaken.

I’m actually not surprised by that. I know quite a few who have brought some to convert into Arbites, servitors, assassins etc. Basically anything other than Van Saar!!

Then of course there are those who see them as “the best gang” and picked them up because of that.

I still reckon Cawdor could prove to be hugely popular too with the 40k crowd as they’re ragged enough to fit into Imperium or Chaos forces. Or inquisitorial warbands, blanchitsu stuff etc.

There’s a lot of potential for all the gangs really but if you think of aesthetics, Van Saar and Cawdor slot in nicely with existing ranges.

Looks like we may not get any news today after all... :(

So I take it that today’s content gets pushed back to next week then?

Shame I was really looking forward to a decent update on N17, when the forge world back log of models will appear and plans for the future etc
