N18 Pre set gangs

Hey all
Long time since I played (pre COVID)

I may be searching the wrong term but I can't find the data cards or rotas for the pre made gangs (for one off games). I have them for Goliath and Esher as they came with the original box. Where do you find them for other gangs the build instructions for them are in the box it would help if the data cards were also or at least a gang rating so you can try balance their skills and unseen weapons.

Gangs have updated 5-6 times since then, so it would be a constant job to update pre made gangs for all gangs every year or multiple times per year. Don't think anyone spent the effort to do that. If lucky, you might find something from the community, possibly goonhammer. GW is guaranteed not to make pre made gangs anymore. And even if they did, it would most likely be some sub-optimal fluff list which seems to be the thing the community criticizes in list building discussions. A pity since it seems like a common request for new (or returning) players.

GW included two pre-made gangs in the N17 core box, for Escher and Goliath but even back then the points costs and statlines were wrong compared to the ones in the books released (Underhive Rulebook and Gang War).

They got pestered enough when the Orlocks were released to offer a small list but never bothered after that.

I am unsure if they ever did pre-made lists for later boxed sets like Dark Uprising, Hive War or Ash Wastes.

We did have a go on here back in 2018 but even so we never got past the first four houses released.

I think Goonhammer does a few fancy build option lists for gangs but really the whole ethos of Necromunda is to create your own gangs how you want to play them.

So really… OP, you need to either get Gangs of the Underhive (Now obsolete but still usable as a starting point if you already have it) and make up a few of your own lists, the Hive War rulebook which has a cut down list too or invest heavily in hardback books to do the same thing.

If you’re just making demo gangs for friends to pick up and play I’d go the GotU or HW list way as you won’t have to invest a lot of cash.

Otherwise… just play the gang(s) you like and get their “House of” or “Book of” full lists.

Cheers that makes sense. I've just bought the ashwastes box and have the outlands book on order. I've just bought the new rulebbok as well and a few others cost about £130 not including ashwastes :-s

You could create a set of premade gangs yourself on the Yaktribe Gang manager. Then you could just go to the manager whenever you need for one off games.
