I mean, they have to be somewhere, can't be ash all the way down, can it?Not many natural rocks in the Underhive, are there?![]()

I could imagine actual stone being worth quite a bit if they even knew what it was. I’m leaving towards the idea that most of it was probably pulverized to make concrete or something similar. Although deep down in the sump it could be cool to have actual stone walls from what used to be manor houses or something similar. Abandoned hotels with crumbling marble staircases and granite countertops.I mean, they have to be somewhere, can't be ash all the way down, can it?

This links to an idea I had a few years ago, which was to build a “tower” table, much like classic one from White Dwarf but it would have four levels, each one getting progressively nicer.Ah, this idea speaks to the archaeologist... Could be cool with an old foundation in the sump, with stones being scavenged because of their rarity in the underhive. I guess there are plenty of stones out in the ash wastes, so noone higher up in the hive have any interest, though.
it’s sooo freaking hot outside right now…
You...receive warnings for that? I feel pretty southern right now, around here, anything below 32°C isn't worth a mention on the news.(It's been about 23C with warnings that it could reach 27C soon. I think that's about 80F.)
