Hi everyone, I'm quite new with Cawdors and I don't find this info. I think it is a silly question, but I ask anyway Is the Way-brethren, so the Ridge Walkers playable only as Ash Wastes unit? or it can be included in any gang? We started a new campaign after long time of not playing with my freinds and we are thinking about that, because the way-brethren is a Prospect, but was included in the vaults of temenos campaign and not in the house of faith initially. What i'm thinking is that the way-brethren is like the Van Saar neotek, a prospect with a silly mount (grav cutter). Am I correct?

Way-Brethren are Cawdor's faction mount. As such, they're only usable in those scenarios that specifically allows vehicles and mounts (in other words classic "ash wastes" scenarios). If you look at the campaigns, you can clearly see design intent for each one whether to include vehicles & mounts or not. Those that do typically have +400 starting credits which can only be spent on vehicles & mounts. If a campaign doesn't have that, you could still take them. But will you play any scenarios where they can be included?

The original Neotek, while having similar looks, is nothing like this at all, because it was introduced in N20, before N22 Ash Wastes. The concept of vehicles & mounts didn't exist back then. Which is why the Grav-Cutter v2 was released after Ash Wastes, a variant that is a mount, so you could use those models with mount rules in ash wastes scenarios if you wanted.
