The Ratskin Renegades from the original Necromunda are quite probably my favourite models that GW has ever made. I also like their lore and I'm waiting impatiently for GW to release them for New Necromunda. Of course I might be waiting forever.

In the meantime I have created a Gang using the Venator rules. Here's the list:

Would this Gang be a decent one to use in a campaign? And, as importantly, are there any changes that can be made to better capture the essence of the Renegades?

I really want to use Brakar the Avenger, which is why I have added a Champion with Heavy Stubber. Also since none of the original Ratskin Renegade models have anything other than Basic weapons I thought it would be a good idea to include one with some bite.

Everybody has Mesh Armour, the idea being that the armour represents their agility to evade shots, seeing as the models themselves aren't particularly well armoured.

I included a Shaman and gave him a medicae kit to represent his skills. Not sure how better to do this, while staying in the rules and not spending silly amounts of credits.

I'd love to give every model a Blindsnake Pouch. I haven't done this for 2 reasons:
1. It's not legal. Rarity is 12 so none of the gang members can start with this.
2. A Blindsnake Pouch costs 60 credits, so if I were to give every gang member one it would seriously eat up the credits.

For Skills I have included Agility and Cunning as Primary Skills.. Just my take on the Ratskins, this can easily be changed of course.

And here's a shot of my partially painted gang, which covers all 8 gangers from the list I created. I actually own all the Ratskin Renegade models from the first production (the models from the rerelease really don't appeal to me).

I like it, its thematic, has a nice spread of weapons and has lots of S4 out the gate.

Is it the most optimised min/max gang ever made? No, but I don't think that's what you're going for, I think it looks like fun, stay out of melee, play with lots of cover and you'll have a blast

I'd take a look at jump up as a skill... Prolly better than regroup. Reason being action economy. It looks like your leader will lead from the front and being able to dive for cover not be shot at all. Then next turn hop up charge or aim and let them have it with a shotgun!
