So I'm about to start a campaign and would LOVE to use a map of our town as the setting and to mark out territories. Apart from screen grabbing Google Maps and buggering around in paint or something does anyone know of a way to create a territory map from a real world location for free?

TIA!

I can give you advice I've seen in WD in the past. They said to keep an eye out for Tourist maps specifically, as these handwave lots of commuting details to focus on points of interest like castles etc, perfect for a campaign map.

I ran a 40k campaign based on my hometown of Dublin, but rotated the map 180 degrees so that it wasn't immedietely recognisable. We had the advantage of the real map to inform military barracks and power stations and Dublin Castle and parkland ( for non City fight games)
