Regular Female Models

I can't readily find something to link to, since they're not out yet, but Stargrave female crew are due next month.

Wargames Atlantic are releasing a female version of their Cannon Fodder kit soon as well.
Thanks for the heads-up about Stargrave. I just picked up a bunch of their minis and they are great Necromunda stand-ins for hangers on and things like that, and very reasonably priced too. Was also lovely looking through and buying blister packs again! :)

Do you have a resin printer? Imitation of Life makes some very cool raiders in their Patreon starter pack here, and Bombshell Minis on My Mini Factory has some non-pinup post apocalyptic models here as well (despite the name).

That’s weird…. One of the things about Bombshell that caught my eye were their pinups. They weren’t over the top like Raging Heroes.

I have an escher gang made from Statuesque miniatues French resistance and German military miniatures which are really beautiful. I used an old esher weapon sprue with smaller scaled weapons to convert them into a great, really different gang.

These are not heroic scale so actually look like female built models, and although attractive are not cheesy at all. They do female heads as well which heaps of people use with other female bodies for conversions, often to make marines.

Alternatively, Victoria Lamb of Golden Daemon fame, at Victoria miniatures in Oz makes a number of female guards women who could be easily converted to Esher and you can also get weapon sprues of less bulky weapons from her shop. These are excellent quality, dynamic miniatures.

Can you tell I love Esher gangs and have a few of them.

Her stuff is fantastic, I have a few of her weapon sets and they definitely scale well with a variety of model scales.

Only downside to me is cost of postage to UK, which means I often wait for a bulk order with some mates so we can split the costs.

Got the 10-man penal legion squad back in the day, got stung for horrendous shipping costs but otherwise amazing models. If you're ever putting an order in let me know, as shipping is the big thing putting me off getting a bunch of Victoria Miniatures stuff (as well as a lack of hobby money in general, but that fluctuates).

Ha! I also got them, as has a mate. His were metal ones but I got resin.

But yeah, not economical to pick up a few bits on your own. I have a vague recollection that took an age to arrive too... it was a few years back now.

I got the resin ones too; I reckon there'll have been a move to resin from metal in general.

It took mine a little while to arrive too, especially since I had to go to the post office to pay additional shipping fees before getting them... I think it was a couple of weeks, and it'll only be worse now both for time and cost.

I'd be keen on getting some of the weapon sets, to be honest, but that's not enough to justify getting an order on my own.

The delays in shipping will be from Australia's end as our postal system is very broken. It takes more than two weeks for mail within the country at the moment. I order stuff from overseas and it takes a few days to get to Australia then two or three weeks (if it arrives at all) to be delivered by Oz post. Three or four years ago they were pretty good but covid has allowed them an excuse for really poor service and their standards have all but disappeared. As of Oct 1st they are no longer accepting any shipping into our ports from overseas. I fear they will collapse soon.

I was thinking in terms of just cargo ships globally being worse since the pandemic, sucks to hear your posties aren't performing. To be fair, our Royal Mail is pretty much dying a death since it was privatised - it's also going to no longer be called Royal Mail pretty soon.

Doesn’t Victoria Miniatures have overseas manufacturing now? I remember seeing something about there being a factory in the US now

Considering how popular her miniatures seem to be, I'm surprised she hasn't got distributers in the US and Europe, at least for some of the main lines.
Probably a mix of quality control concerns, stock levels and operating costs; they can't afford to build up stock to speculatively distribute globally, don't want to have someone else manufacturing them in case they're not good enough, and/or don't have the existing customer base globally to justify expanding like that.

The US hub might be a reasonable push since it's closer to AU and maybe they've had enough business to justify it? Can't say for certain, not a proper business person.

copplestone castings are very good for male and femail.
not over the top , very realistic

Shout out to hardcore miniature. Don't know them and they seem to be closed down but have/had some excellent female catachans:
