Return to the Underhive

the orrus certainly were a challenge; some of the first necromunda models i ever saw as a (relatively new) player of whfb, and it was certainly an experience to paint them up. hopefully i did the sculpts some justice as they were pretty poor, and probably later castings.
the blue recipe is the same as my other spyrers (i'll post it if people are really interested, but its basically just turquoise shaded with violet). the orange is an experiment, ak intense orange is an absolute beast of a paint- fantastic pigment content and coverage

may have bought a fair few too many minis in the recent weeks, so i hope the next comp gives me an excuse to build some.

on a *completely* unrelated note, satyr art studio makes lovely metal minis.

A little surprised how well those work together. A little clean for a modern ork but it really fits the snappier style of that older guy

finally got this beastlord painted, he's a khornegor i guess because of the red armor? axe is from a second gen dragon ogre, and yes i copied this from the paul sawyer 'tale of 4 warlords' or whatever from white dwarf- the conversion was done when i bought the model new, but he's been sitting around for ages in primer.
anyway, he won't be part of a larger warband or anything, maybe mordheim though, as i only have 4 old/midhammer beastmen in my collection!
