N18 Rules questions about articles of faith and nerve test

Im starting new campaign with my friends and i have some questions that i cant find answers. I would be be grateful if someone with better grasp of the rules coud help me.

1. How does cawdor Path of faith articles work in multiplayer scenarios? For example:

"And a river of blood did Drown Them!" (11+) Friendly fighters that are Out of Action are included in the count for the enemy Bottle test (in the End phase of this round).

Does i have to nominate a single gang or does it count for all of them?

2. Im using necrodamus for quick rules check but if i need to go to the source im using new/latest rulebook.
In the nerve test part of necrodamus there is "No Nerve test is required when a Juve/Prospect is taken Out of Action, except by other Juves/Prospects." https://necrodamus.org/docs/the-rules/resolve-hits#nerve-tests
But i cant find that rule in the new official rulebook about the nerve tests. Maybe im missing something?

we play multi gang games , i have the cawdor gang.
i only count my cawdor gang as 'freindly fighters' , i cant quote a page in the rulebook though.
